If I have a really awful game, I put on Warlord or HE and go have a really good game. I never have bad games with those two.

I have been known to spike my coffee, but not very often since I rarely buy the alcohol around here and I don't like beer. It's probably not a great idea since I'm such a lightweight, but eh.

Also while being buzzed negates any negative vibes from bad matches, I find I also have a higher tendency to spam combat rolls and hops.

I too just wake up from that nightmare. If you are having crappy games you are doing it wrong; I bet you doing it with strangers again aren't you! Grab a couple of good buddies for a match and you'll never look back.

I don't have the patience for bad games. If it's just not going well, I switch off my Xbox/alt+F4 on PC.

It depends on the period and the mood... I've had many ways of showing my anger to this game. Lately I've been fond of starting a game on Geth glacier with a scorpion GI. Talking about a taste of their own medicine...

Take one of my favourite kits (usually the Slayer, Novaguard or Fury), set the lobby to private, slap some level 3 equipment on for lolmode , and totally wreck Cerberus or Geth on Silver. Success guaranteed. Well.... Except from this one happy cheating Phantom stab time, that one ended with a rage quit.

I do something similar along these lines. For the most part, i end up having bad games aginst the annoying geth faction on gold. So i will usually bring out the stagger-free destroyer on them and wreck everything. I don't drop to a lower level like silver tho...i tend to stay on that difficulty where i just got waxed on...  ...which is usually gold...

Last week I earned a parent of the year award after my own awful game play. Throughout the evening I was fortifying my gameplay by imbibing grape based elixers. My last game of the evening involved my van bat being insta-killed 3 rounds in a row by scions that I was sure I could beat to death with my shotgun. After my 3rd death, I decided it was bed time and indicated my intensions by spiking my controller on the carpet and weaving my way off to bed without saying a word. My teenage son who witnessed my excellent sportsmanship and parenting acumen rounded up the batteries (one of which ended up in a window sill and one under the couch) and finished the game. I am awesome.

There have been games where we wiped since but that doesn't mean it was a bad game.  So just play again or go to Warframe

If I'm with friends it's easier to "laugh off" (somtimes...G00sh, I still blame you for me getting synced FIVE times that game), and I'll just go in with a more comfortable (read: OP) setup.

 

If I'm pugging, the answer is simply "GI" as it is for many others in this thread.

I leave the lobby, switch to TGI, put on AP4, CM4, ARamp3, Warfighter5... and go into a bronze lobby (JK that would be stupidly overpowered)

my last few matches were horrible, wasn't the team it was me; I think it was because I was playing ME3mP too much lately..and got bored... so I got up and turned off my PS3, haven't played ME3 in just under a week...

If I let myself be deterred by an awful game, I'd have quit long ago. Being a pug-playing scrub, most of my games are awful. So what? Pick yourself up and get back on the bike and next time it may be perfect.
