Everyone knows that game developers love to take a **** on Europe whenever possible. Europe has always been an after thought in the gaming industry.
And yet there's a lot of money to be made in the EU. We buy as many - if not more - games than people in the US. We can afford to spend more on them as well. The only reason we're still considered a secondary market by many distributors is, I think, because there's so many different countries in Europe, bringing with it a heap of localization and distribution issues (different laws, taxes, age ratings, stores).
They also seem to prefer releasing games on fridays here, which is why we're usually a few days behind the US. I dunno why, I've heard it's something to do with store re-stock days.
