Now I'm getting reports of more and more people already playing the game legally. And I know I'll have to wait a week and a half at best... this delay is annoying, to put it mildly.

That's why I have switched to SE...although the CE would be nice to have, I'm not going to wait a week for a nice box and some extra content.

That would indeed suck for the persons that will have a delay... but it would be 0-1 for Belgium. It's just a small thing between the dutch people from Belgium and the Netherlands , nothing serious or personal.

And guys working at the GM saying they'll receive on wednesday doesn't mean much. They probably read if from their pc and the site stills says the CE is out on the 28th so they probably aren't aware yet that it has been delayed (GM always has been kinda slow).

Actually most people in Flanders and the Netherlands speak English because those are subtitle regions. We're 'dubbing = only for children' regions just like Sweden and Finland so there's no localization here either.

I think the reason we haven't heard anything from the devs is because they're trying to fix it in time.

I checked my ME1 and the cover + manual is in swedish so atleast for ME1 there was some localization, which is just ludacris since if you can't read the cover you won't understand what's being said in the game.

Edit: I'm also hoping for them to announce that there was a problem and they solved it.
Not likely to happen tho

Well, according to my Game Mania, here in Holland (Leeuwarden), the CE should arrive on the 28th. Which basically means I should be able to get it tomorrow (the GM here usually sells it a day or two earlier than the street date), but as someone else already said, GM is a bit slow sometimes. Let's just hope it arrives on time, although I've got some serious doubts about it. Anyways, if we do get it on time, I do hope the GM in Belgium gets it later haha ;D.

I find it very strange that EA europe hasn't bothered to make any announcement today (nothing on UK site which is the only one to my knowledge with a forum).

There's a topic there about the delay of the CE but no answers.

im going to call my dealer tomorrow and hopefully he'll say that SE and CE arrives on wednesday, longer then thursday im not going to wait for the CE, if its delayed a week or so i'll buy the SE...

Why bother with explanation? Seriously, EA taking blame for their mistake? That won´t happen. And than they wonder how is possible that they are hitting the records in popularity.

This is getting confusing.. I send a mail to Free Record Shop (Netherlands) to ask them about the delay and the reply was as followed:

Beste klant,

Van onze leverancier hebben wij vernomen
dat wij dit artikel vooralsnog tijdig kunnen verzenden. Betekent dat u dit
artikel donderdag of vrijdag ontvangt.

We hopen u hiermee voldoende te hebben
geïnformeerd.

It basically says that their supplier told them that they will be able to distribute the product in time, which will be either Thursday of Friday.

This is contradicting with what BjorntjuNL has posted in this same thread about there being a delay. So either the person who send me a reply misunderstood that I was talking about the C.E. (which I clearly stated) or they recently had contact with the supplier and it was confirmed they will get the product in time...
So.. confusing..

Yeah, I know. It brings my ****** to a boil! If only I knew what to expect. If they said ''ok, its going to be tuesday next week, sorry man'' I would accept that, but not knowing is so annoying. That's why I generally steer clear of shops like FRS and buy things via Steam. But I wanted the physical goodies of the CE this time, not some PDF file with the art.
