Huzzah! I haven't ordered online, I've pre-ordered it instore at Game instead, but that bodes well for everyone I guess, they can hardly delay it in-store but not online. Looks like the UK has been saved from the evil grasp of the delay for once!

It basically says that their supplier told them that they will be able to distribute the product in time, which will be either Thursday of Friday.

This is contradicting with what BjorntjuNL has posted in this same thread about there being a delay. So either the person who send me a reply misunderstood that I was talking about the C.E. (which I clearly stated) or they recently had contact with the supplier and it was confirmed they will get the product in time...
So.. confusing..

Wtf? I am really confused right now. Really Bioware... WE NEED AN RESPONSE!!! I feel we are being completely ignored and i am 100% sure that you guys already read this topic. I am getting really impatient...

But Nildar. At with time did you get that E-Mail.. As i said in my post. EA would try to get the CE in time. Could you please tell me when they sended the mail to you. As it says this:

So that means that they INFORMED them that they will get it on time. So it is possible that they informed FRS after i called. I really appriciated if you could tell me at what time they sended you the mail. If they sended you the mail after i called. It is possible that we get the CE on time.

For what it's worth the Gamestation website in the UK is still showing a "Preorder now for release on 29/01/10" for the CE which is encouraging.



I feel like I'm 8 years old waiting for Xmas morning here, how can a game matter so much to me?...

I received the email today (25th) at 17:13:19 CET so that is a few hours after you called. It took quite some time for them to reply this time around (they were faster before, even if I include weekend delay) so maybe they really did inquire about the status. This is all purely speculative though, so no real answers can be gotten from it. (the person whote wrote the mail could have just used bad wording also)

But seriously I just want a answer from bioware/EA/whoever can make a definite statement on this. I'm constantly refreshing this topic, the one in the ea-uk-forums, my mailbox, and the site of my shop (amazon.de) and nothing happens!

Damn! The PC SE is available in my country from today in the Capital, and from tomorrow throughout the country, even though the release date was supposed to be the 29th :S. And the X360 CE is delayed of course. I hate fate

EDIT: But when I look at my pre-order status, it says that the pre-order has arrived. The plot thickens....

EDIT #2: But it seems that the discount that was supposed to be in effect is not, oh well, it's only a 10% discount.

So no real confirmation for most of us? It seems strange that absolutely no one on EA or Bioware side would release some information. It's not just a few customers affected but an entire region it seems. Just hoping it's just a few e-mails sent by companies who oversold their stock...

No delay in UK only  =  Localization matter

Since there are some countries involved that usually get no localization,
and since many retailers have confirmed an error in production (and there are rumors about errors in printing specifically),
it seems They have localized the Comic and /or the Art book also for the countries that usually do not get localization.
Very stupid thing to do.

I hope to be wrong but so far this is the most probable thing.

I like to have all my CEs with no localization, as it has alaways been here.
Localized Comic and/or Artbook sucks for me.

If I only had a little suspicion about this before, I would have preordered from UK instead.

How do you explain the fact that we have zero reports of the delay from France though?

for all we know it is delayed in france, i dont think there are a lot of frace people on english forums, if anyone can read french they should check french forums

I just checked the Frence forums and no signs about a delay there in their thread about the delay in Europe.

I'm from Italy and i've inquired some distributor about the delay of ME2 Collectors, here the reply i get 'till now.

le confermo che la data effettiva per l’uscita del gioco, sia versione “normale” che la versione "collector" è fissata per il 29/01/2010. Può essere stato un errore di scrittura quella data che ha trovato Lei.

As far i know, i can also add that mutliplayer.it had a special live at 17.00 (local) where they rewieved the game. On live they assured all that the regular and the collector edition, and also the x360 bundle will be released on 29th of this month.



As far i know i must consider the official date the 29th.



Eventually i will buy the regula and swap with the collector as it in released.
