I ordered my PC CE at Dixons in the Netherlands. Their site still lists the CE as being released the 29th (hell, it even says you can still pre-order it), so I'm hopeful. But I DO want an official response, cause I don't think I can take waiting another 1,5 week.

I believe that was only said of Poland, I think it was Poland anyway.

Don't know about SiD but I ordered the PC version, and there wasn't anything in the e-mail about the artbook being delayed. Still I think this is just the order processing email, and there'll be another one tomorrow or wednesday when the order is dispatched. If the artbook is delayed then I'm sure we'll know by then.

All big onlineshops still have the 28. or 29. for the CE. I'm going to buy it in a shop in my city and he said on Friday that he'll get the SE and CE on 27. or will call me if its delayed...

yes, i am german

i haven't heard of any cases of delayed CE in germany yet, but no confimation on the release date either.
I mailed EA Germany on friday but no response so far.
amazon.de still lists the 29.1 as delivery date for my order.

I ordered my copy of the game on the day I could preorder it in my local game store, I'm pretty much sure I was the first one to preorder it there since I was home that day and I've been checking every 10 minutes for updates and suddenly it was in the list



Anyway, I mailed EA to ask about the delay, so far I haven't had any respons, maybe tomorrow^^

I can't find an link right now. But i readed somewhere that the PC CE version will come out on the normal date, And the artbook wil be sent later. The Xbox 360 CE will be completely dalayed for a week. However this doesn't neccesary is for all country's where it is delayed.

It does look a bit ridiculous though, this thread has over 400 replies and a valid concern, but no BioWare posts... it does seem like this is being ignored on purpose. Chris, please prove me wrong.

Wie gesagt, mein Händler meinte am Freitag (mit Rücksprache mit seinem Lieferanten), dass er beide Versionen am 27. bekommen soll und sich ansonsten meldet. Bisher hab ich nix gehört und werd Morgen Mittag vor der Arbeit mal anrufen ob ichs mir am Mittwoch holen kann.

Concerning above posts about those receiving messages from Game.co.uk - I have as of yet received no such message and have pre-ordered the 360 version. Then again, I pre-ordered relatively recently (5th), so it could be unconnected.

Germany here too: no sign of delay as of yet, usually we know at least one week ahead if there are problems, so *fingers crossed*

went to Game Mania(Roosendaal) today to get some information about this game....
Complaint about that i ordered this game MONTHS ago, as a fan of the first hour....
and now we maybe get punished for this!!!!:crying:

And that i  ordered the normal edition as a spare..and that i'm not waiting another week!!!:devil::devil:
the guy in the shop told me that if i could keep my SE in good contition, i will get to swap it fo CE when it comes out.

All this, when CE is delayed of course.....

I can't find an link right now. But i readed somewhere that the PC CE version will come out on the normal date, And the artbook wil be sent later. The Xbox 360 CE will be completely dalayed for a week. However this doesn't neccesary is for all country's where it is delayed.

Oh, well...I've decided that I'll just go to my store on Wed/Thursday. If the CE is present, I'll buy it, and if not, I'll get the SE instead.

Personally I think only some Eastern and Northern European countries are suffering from this. Any artbook printing issues might be the problem here,... still,... I'd like to hear this straight from Bioware or EA representatives! Most stores here in the Netherlands all stay true to the original release date,... for all CE's. Let's all hope for the best.

And even if the CE is delayed,... I can wait a couple of more days. The CE is worth it and as painfull as it might sound,... those few days can't hurt anyone. True,... I want to play this weekend as well,... but sometimes,... just sometimes,... you can't control everything. Go with the flow,... enjoy life,... and Mass Effect 2 in a few days

True. The few extra days don't hurt.
What DOES hurt is the lack of information.
Who's affected? WHY are they affected? That's what's annoying about this.

Word from god would help immensely.

I put my pre-order in for ME 2 CE Xbox 360 on november 18th at Game.Co.Uk and i've still not received any email of any delays or if its gonna be shipped in time for the 29th
