On the Delay of Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition in Europe

I sent an email to CDON and they confirmed that the CE version is delayed. I changed my order to Digital Deluxe version because it contains the same stuff as the CE version. It will be available on 27.01 (00:01) for download and activation codes, Cerberus Network codes etc will be mailed on the release date.
So it seem the CE version IS delayed in Europe, at least in Scandinavia. The Digital Download version of the CE version is NOT delayed however. So maybe that's an alternative to those who want the extra stuff, but not want to wait one week to play.

Yeah. I am also confused. First my shop said it will possibly be delayed. But EA games would try to to get it here on time (with i didn't count on) A hour of 3 later Nildar posted an e-mail with he got back from FRS that thy got informed that it will be here on time. So i am extremely confused. And for somekind of reason Bioware still didn'd comment on this iusse. And the first topic about this was opended 6 days ago. They won't comment on this iusse. But they can lock other topics with have even the slighted of spoilers ( a.k.a easter eggs for example) But for somekind of reason they dont see THIS topic!Tony77A wrote...

Personally I think only some Eastern and Northern European countries are suffering from this. Any artbook printing issues might be the problem here,... still,... I'd like to hear this straight from Bioware or EA representatives! Most stores here in the Netherlands all stay true to the original release date,... for all CE's. Let's all hope for the best.
And even if the CE is delayed,... I can wait a couple of more days. The CE is worth it and as painfull as it might sound,... those few days can't hurt anyone. True,... I want to play this weekend as well,... but sometimes,... just sometimes,... you can't control everything. Go with the flow,... enjoy life,... and Mass Effect 2 in a few days
It's not even about the delay anymore, i just want some official confimation/comment/anything.

I ordered the PC CE version at CDON in Norway (CDON exists in all Scandinavian countries) and they have moved the date from 28.01 to 04.02. Other Norwegian stores have moved the release date of the CE to 04.02 as well.

Stay strong my friend! Let's hope that other European countries can enjoy Mass Effect 2 CE this weekend!

What has been seen cannot be unseen!
I know they have seen this topic,... I guess they themselves are not to sure about the current situation and status. Worst thing to do is bring more confusing. Let's hope they react accordingly shortly.

You might want to edit the order number out of your post before someone highjacks it and steals your delivery.

I've bought CE's before & been pretty dissapointed (once i finally think logically about how much money i have spent) - I want Mass Effect 2 for the game, if i can get the extras... fine, if not.... I'm not going to lose sleep over it !

I have a Collectors edition pre ordered (UK) & i am a massive mass effect fan, I loved the first game & i can't wait to play the second but if i find that my CE is going to be delayed i'll simply cancel it & get a standard version. Is the CE really worth crying over ?, what ever "bonus stuff" comes with it will surely be DLC later on, I'd hazard a guess that the dvd will only give us stuff we've already seen (or similar) & the art book will be nice to look at once or twice !.

Same here. I'd rather have the CE that I preordered, but if I go down to GAME on Friday morning and they don't have the CE version in stock because of the delay - i'll be more than happy to pick up the standard version instead. The game is all that matters really.

Maybe in regards to the post I reported?
Then when they saw the topic-title they reopened?
I dunno...

People have sent in numerous messages, I myself included, but none of us have heard anything from BioWare, which could mean that EA has issued a gag order. Or maybe I'm just getting paranoid.Cerberus Operative wrote...
Has anyone managed to get any sort of contact with anybody at Bioware who can tell us more about the CE in the UK (especially the 360 version as I'm slightly concerned with the number of PC users receiving confirmation but no reports of 360 confirmation. Any info much appreciated.

It would certainly not surprise me.
Like I said earlier, if EA or Bioware gives no official statement, there's no problem.

If he's got e-mail notification turned on... (is that even a feature on these forums?)
