Yes, you are right. This is not a thread about how much we pay for videogames. We all know that in Europe (except in UK, that is cheaper now because pound is not as strong as before comparing it with €) games cost between 60 and 70€, a lot more than in the U.S.

This is about a delay that is normal with all kind of products (not only videogames). This is not about punish Europeans. I'm sure that BioWare is the first one that wants the game to be released as soon as posible (They can lose sales for this, and I'm sure that they don't want that).

We only want an official explanation from BioWare, nothing less, nothing more. We are not asking for the CE to be released sooner (at least, I am not asking for that).

My retailer sent me a mail informing me that it would be delayed about a week and kindly asked me if I wanted to change to the standard version. I'd like to have the CE, but I'm impatient, so i changed my order...

I don't want to say it but I may also have to resort to getting it through illigitimate means aswell... I'll still obviously buy, I have the CE pre-ordered. But I don't want to download it cus I want to play it with DLC and everything... aaaaawww... OK OK... I wotn download.. but still... aaaawwww... :'-(.

It could well be that for the EU distro, a number of producers were contracted, and that the one responsible for the UK shipment is on time. Or EA is prioritizing certain markets (namely UK) with the copies they have ready for launch. I guess from their point of view it's better to at least have the game on time in some countries rather than delaying the game in the entire region.



Still, I cancelled my order and bought the game on Steam instead. I can live without that N7 case.

I doubt Ea would mess with Game when it comes to exclusives they dont like being dicked arounda nd have been known to kick up a major fuss over stuff not going there way.

No E-mail for me... though VPD.fi claims ME2 available on 4th Feb. rather than the earlier 28th Jan.

I wonder if this another EA ****up? Seriously. There's not much good to say about EA in my experience... too bad they publish a lot of good games. Says something about them if first suspicions are directed to them...

I was extremely pissed off when I got the email from my Finnish retailer. I'd even taken five days off from work to play ME2 on release, so I really had no other choice than to order the regular version for the 360.



I do understand that this is not BioWare's fault and probably not even EA's, but still, the least a publisher can do is publicly apologize to BioWare's/ME's diehard fans (since EA as publisher is the one ultimately responsible.)

Where'd you order the game? As i said, i used VPD.

Personally i won't bother changing the order... I want CE because it is CE, not for extra stuff really. Though delay sucks...

well in Romania at least for people who buyed it from where i did the CE was postponed till 5 February but they announced it on their sites they didn't call or mail us anything....said they'll confirm with us when they have the edition in shops

The CE in Poland isn't delayed. My retailer said that I'll get my artbook a week later, but all the rest will be shipped on the 27th.

Still no sign of a changing release date in Belgium either. But I'm not getting my hopes up. If the CE is delayed I'll just replay ME 1 once more. Problem solved.

Usually in Scandinavia there is not localization, which is sooo good!
I really hope they don't start now, it would sucks big time.

What I gleaned from the first "CE ETA delayed" thread was that the delay seems to concern the printing of the artbook.
