They don't have it yet, but they are expecting both version (SE and CE) later today but more likely tomorrow.



Boss dude also didn't know of any delays for their CE.

I just recieved a email van Bol.com concerning the CE edtion of the game. This is their reply:

Game Mania normally is already selling the SE and they expect to sell the CE on the 28th as originally planned.

I just got a reply to my mail to EA Germany. The original words:

"uns ist soweit nichts bekannt das die CE später erscheinen soll."

in English:

"as far as we know the CE won't be delayed"



i'd say it is very likely we get it on time.

Yeah i too think, that the whole delay thing was just a hoax for central europe at least. The game is released in two days, we would've heard something by now (Germany here). It could very well be that the "core markets" (UK, Germany, France) are preferred and eastern and northern europe get the short end of the stick. Maybe they oversold the CE and don't have enough yet and decided to delay it in the smaller countries. That would be lame indeed but it's just speculation.

The GameStop in Athlone, Ireland called and told me they simply wouldnt be getting any CEs in at all.

Got my confirmation email from GAME.co.uk a few hours ago saying its being dispatched. Looks like if you live outside the UK, Germany and France youre gonna have to wait. Not good for those affected....

According to the latest reports, the Netherlands may also still be on a release-day... release.
MIND you all, the official release date is set as the 28th or 29th.
Anybody getting a shipment statement (and will be receiving it before the 28th) is getting a game that's broken street-date.

Not that I mind anyway, but I'm just saying... anybody who hasn't gotten their shipment statement today might still be in for a release day game.

I curse EA and all the distributors for whose Spain is always the last one. It's definitely SE for me. And they should be glad even that I buy the game.

CE Delay in Denmark as well, according to my mail they wont be getting it until 2/2 -10.... so I wont be getting the game until 5/2-10 *sigh*

I got an e-mail (today) from Game.co.uk about my pre-order of the CE telling me they will ship it and then, because of a problem with my credit card, they canceled the order. I was really pissed off, because there are no CEs.



At least I found 2 stores here in Greece that will have it. One of them said they'd have on Thursday. Hopefully they will, because a couple of sites (of stores in Greece) only list the PC CE.

According to the Bulgarian retailer - "Pulsar.bg", the CE will be delayed for a week or so. EA knows in which countries they can pull such a stunt... Eastern Europe ftw.

I hope we'll receive some additional bonuses (DLC codes) for compensating the delay...

Seems that the CE is delayed in Germany (1-2 days, depending on the seller). Most Saturn/Media Markt seem to sell the SE from today. I'll buy it tomorrow at my local Gameshop, if he got the CE I'll buy it, otherwise I'll take the SE.

I've removed Holland from the list of countries affected due to reports to the contrary. If you have evidence of why I should put Holland back on the list, post it. No official response BioWare has been posted to this day, although we have now extended this 5 star thread to 22 pages and over 540 posts.

To my fellow Finns: I've just received an answer to my query from my retailer (Puolenkuun Pelit). I asked them whether the CE would be delivered next week (Feb. 1st - 5th) or the week after next week (Feb. 8th - 12th). Their response was to tell me that they don't have any information regarding this particular question. Make of that what you will.

As for other retailers who have set a preliminary release date: Tilt (Feb. 4th), CDON.COM (Feb. 4th), Verkkokauppa.com (Feb. 4th) & VPD (Feb. 4th). These release dates aren't official, but only guesses and are subject to change depending on whether the first CE shipment will have enough copies for Finland. And this is assuming no other country gets precedence from EA's distribution.

As usual, please post any new information in this thread.

More and more people say that the GM will receive the CE's tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. So in a way the CE was delayed for us since the SE is already available and the CE still isn't. Hopefully it really comes out this week.

And for those that also were wondering what they were going to get with the CE at GM, they editted their page:

Mass Effect CE bevat:
- Tinnen verpakking
- 3 in-game items: Icisor Sniper Rifle, Collector Armor, Collector Weapon.
- 'Art of Mass Effect 2' artbook met 48 pagina's
- Het eerste 'Mass Effect Redemption' stripboek
- Documentaire en making of.
- Cerberus Network Card voor extra DLC

So no more digital version (which didn't exist for the 360 in the first place), only a small error left. The Icosor Sniper Rifle is DDE only (and the PC CE still mentions the OST and poster).

Oh man Now we know the artbook and comic book aren't digital, 2 days before launch when the damn thing is sold out and I ordered the regular version elsewhere. If they put this feature list up from the start, I would've pre-ordered it at Game Mania but the digital books scared me off.
