i pre-ordered the CE from Musicstore.nl (http://www.musicstor...ect 2&search_in=) its still avalible it should arrive on 28-01-2010

Do you think anyone can come up with certain CE release dates when they already slipped from the original one? It said preliminary on one of the retailers' website as well. Plus if it really was a conclusive release date, all retailers would use it. Now we have some that don't have a release date set at all, and some who have Feb. 2nd, Feb. 4th etc.

I was under the assumption that the retailers had gotten a new release date and that the variations were just different practices (some announce the day THEY get it, some when they estimate YOU get it, like mine does).

Possibly, I wouldn't know how different retailers handle it, really. In Finland it's the same as in Sweden, they announce the day the game is available in stores, or in the case of online retailers, the day the game should arrive at your post office/box.

Just talked to spelbutiken.se
He couldn't give me any new information (he was waiting for the CE himself).

He said that he didn't think it would be as long as march, but couldn't promise anything.

I also tried mailing EA sweden asking them to clarify the situation.

Edit: The guy i talked to did not seem happy at all with EA.

CE arriving on 2nd or 5th Feb is not that bad. Compare it to 15th Feb CE release date in Russia... >_<
It's very tempting to buy DDE or just download a pirated one...

Wtf... I really dont belive that. Especialy because shops are saying they will get it on time. And a whole month! A week mabye. But a month? I dont belive that. It must be some mistake. However i see that it was posted yesterday. And ik Bol.com sends an mesage today that it will come on time. I think they are mistaken. I at least hope so!

Well, I know that webshop isn't really a major shop in Holland, so maybe that is why they have some more delay?
But still, a month is kinda weird indeed. <_<

I sent them a mail and hope I get some clarification. If not, I think I'll cancel it there and buy it somewhere else for a buck or 5 more.

But I need some facts before I can come to a conclusion!

That was first time to me when I pre-order Collectors Edition (From verkkokauppa.com) and then somethink like this happens. I just hope that by next week to get it.

So far i know Italy is not affected of the delay, if it was a localization problem i can tell the Italian version is localized in italian laguage except for the Cominc and the Artbook that are in english.

A month... lol. Even EA would know if that were they case they could shove all of there CE copies somewhere else. In other words, they probably would have cancelled it for the countries that only would have it in March.

Now that's a delay... EA's moves make even less sense now. If they want Russian ME fans to buy legit copies, they should at least get the CE out the same time as everywhere else it was delayed.

600 posts up soon. I don't think we're going to get a reply at all. Some of us will just get the CEs later, but I don't think they'll ever actually explain this delay.

With regards to the preliminary dates (i.e. Feb 2. vs Feb 4. and so forth), I went back and reread the email I got from cdon.com:

In the email it says that their (cdon.com's) distributor/supplier has moved the date of delivery (to cdon.com or from the distributor, they don't specify) to Feb 2., due to "inability to meet demand for the product" (wtf? I preordered in November).
On cdon.com's product page for the ME2-CE-PC, "release date" is set to Feb 4th. Just throwing that out there.
At this rate I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I'll get the game by Saturday 6th.

Well, that won't affect piracy situation, coz there are only 1k CE anyway and there are regular and DDE versions that will be released on 27/28th Jan (depends on the shop).

Though such delay on CE is depressing...

That money will soon slip from their fingers if people start cancelling their pre-orders like some have already done. I'm sure this will only get worse on the supposed launch day when the people who don't yet know about this delay hear the news.

It still could very well be that they just can't be bothered to tell us about the delay in some of the presumably "unaffected" countries. At least in germany customer service is like that most of the time, so i really don't get my hopes up until i have it.

PC or 360 CE version? However i heard that also the Xbox360 CE is being dispatched. So i will keep my hopes up!
