One question btw...

If i start the game up. Do you have to login to your EA games account if you redeem your Cebeurs Network code?? If so, I will just use my new gamertag and i log in to the EA account i used here.

Oh well, I am going to sleep now. I hope we have more information concerning the delay tomorrow!

Well I cancelled my CE and ordered a standard edition. One thing still puzzles me though. Why do the the standard game get released in the Nordic (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway) countries on Jan 28 while rest of Europe gets it on Jan 29?

I know it is just a single day, but it is still strange. Guess there is some bonuses of localization.

The release date for Europe was originally Jan. 29th, but I guess they don't really care, seeing as the release date seems to vary by the country.

Because in some countries the release dates are always on thursdays.  Thursday this week is the 28th.
That's just the way it is.  The logic behind it was explained by someone else earlier in the thread.

This issue is driving me crazy. Even though I do want to get my CE and will wait for it, I can't believe they're feeling okay just ignoring us like we were unworthy customers. All we did wrong was like ME too much.

Ah ok then. Well I'm actually not the one that should be complaning since i live in one of said countries

Anyways i hope for all of you who are staying faithful to the CE will get this mess sorted out as soon as possible.

Yeah, there isn't much we can do now. I feel like I'm suffering for my honesty once again - pirates are already playing the game, have been for a good while if you were reading the forums last weekend. But since I refuse to pirate anything at all, I get treated like a block of wood that doesn't need to know anything.

Well, my regular edition is sitting as "packing" on play.com, so we'll see how long it takes to get to Belgium. My collector's order is sitting as processing (in store pick up), but I know FRS get stock on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I'm expecting to get a call Thursday still.

Yeah i hear you. It's extremely silly that these things (artbook, comic?) aren't fixed well behind launch. Especially if one is a loyal Bioware fan like you and have both DA:O CE and ME2 CE. Silly EA..

They are supposed to call you when they have it ready for pick up, as soon as they start handing them out.

Yep. In addition to Dragon Age: Origins and my Mass Effect 2 pre-order I've also got:

So it's not exactly the first time I've bought their games either. You'd think they'd treat their fans a bit better when it comes to things like this, but the silence is probably by EA's command, so I don't blame BioWare if that's the case.

Can't say about Denmark, but a while back I was told at a Gamestop shop that they expect to launch sale in 28th, so if I wanted a CE, I had to get there fast, for, as I was told, "you can't preorder a CE, they're like first come, first served basis"...Thought that was funny...Still, when the rumours about the delay started, I ultimitaley preordered from Game.co.uk...I wanted to avoid localization, and It was a lot cheaper too, waaay cheaper
