To tell you the truth, I feel like a complete moron.

/flaming The CE, according to our living standard in my country, isn't very cheap (my grandparents live a whole month with money, similar to the price of CE) and not many people can afford to pay such price for a GAME. When I tell someone that I buy original games he/she usually thinks I'm retarded or something worse - "Why buy something, when you can download it for free?". I try to support Bioware the best way I can (I have BG1-BG2-KOTOR-ME1-DA:O in my collection) but this delay really offends me - not because of the delay itself, **** happens all the time, but because no one explains what is going on... or just saying sorry to the affected customers...

In the end, the pirates will be playing ME2 14++ days ahead of me... for FREE. And I'll have to keep waiting, worrying, swearing and in the end to PAYing for my pre-ordered copy. Nice way to fight the piracy, I give you thumbs up!

Nice to know, that I am not alone with my agony of waiting.

BlackHawkBG has a valid point, feels really stupid to wait longer when you are paying more of the game.

My local GameStop didn't even inform me of the delay, I read about it yesterday by accident. I visited the shop today and the salesman told me that the quantity had been cut down drastically, only 3 out of 30 CE's will be delivered, 2 for PC and 1 for XBox. Fortunately I am the other PC guy

That kinda shows that they have heavy trouble with distributing. One would wish the delay is because of Bioware adding new content to CE due to the mishap on XBox downloads, but sadly that is just a dream

At least I have time to complete ME1 for the third time and to get my Shepard on level 60 (currently 57).

EDIT: More positive points. Maybe they have fixed all the Cerberus network and account trouble by the release of the CE

I am not very happy saying this but I am less and less optimistic about EA and Bioware. And all I'd like is _one_ honest answer - whatever it is, I'd like to know what it is about and that I can stay calm. Now I am at stage that I am considering to cancel my CE preorder from day it was first availaible in my country (Czech Republic). Sorry for saying that. It's not frustratition from not getting the game in time, that's not important. That's uncertainity that I do not know when I get it, and from today I must add that I do not know WHAT I get and if I shouldn't rather re-order in another country.

Vanilla game is available, CE is not.

Of course, digital distribution is just fine.
Go figure.

Funny enough they didn't learn a thing from Dragon Age.
Sad, really, since pirates can play this game for several days now, but the honest buyer
is screwed by a miserable service from EA.

I ordered my CE at bol.com, after reading the posts here I also dubble checked with them. They said it should be arriving tomorrow as was promised .

Well,. according to Amazon.de my ME2 CE can't be canceled anymore since it's now in the shipping process. And given all the apparent issues with the DLC codes and such I'm totally cool with waiting two more days.... 
Also, I wouldn't mind if the CE wasn't available at the retail stores.

Well my UK order's on its way. FWIW though, I did email Game and ask for clarification on the delay, but I just got a canned answer about them removing the CE from the site as they'd run out of their preorder allocation.

To all the Belgian and Dutch people who ordered the CE from gamemania and got the message that they could go pick it up today: I hate you!

As I hadn't received any message so far, I just called my local gamemania only to be told that they don't have the CE yet, but that they should get it tomorrow.

The Xbox360 version. The lady at the phone even said with version i ordered. I said the Xbox360 one. And then she said i will recive it on time. So i asked if i will get it tommorow then. And she said yes!

They have reduced the price on the CE here (around 55 bucks), it's almost equal with the normal now. Don't know they are compensating for the 6 days of delay with this or not, but so many canceled their preorders that it's avaliable on sale again (it was sold out before x-mas).

Yes, it has been kind of scary the first time when I heard Bioware would have been owned by this publisher.

I'ts a long time I'm not expecting nothing good from EA. Not a surprise actually.
Another bad experience to spread around in gamers boards and wherever.
Besides, there is a lack of communication from BioWare that is going to be ridiculous. Congrats.

Yeah, Game Mania got the Collector's Edition in too, today. It's even the 'normal' Collector's Edition, not the watered-down Digital Deluxe version we were originally getting. Cost less than most games, too.

Called FRS here in Holland. All CE's are being packaged and shipped out later today so I'll get mine tomorrow. The guy did mention EA said they were having problems with distributing the game to the stores but the CE's are fine, there was a slight delay in some SE's...but only a day or so

I ordered it in Antwerp and I also haven't received a message but they should have it tomorrow, I think.

From what I heard, though, they only got in the X360 version. The store clerk told me he still had to wait for his copy to arrive, and another customer who asked if it was available had to be disappointed.
