Zoals het er nu nog naar uitziet komt die gewoon de 29e uit. Houd www.electronicarts.nl in de gaten.

heb een vraagje, Ik lees hier: http://social.biowar.../index/675935/1 en hier: http://social.biowar.../index/661118/1 dan de CE voor ME2 is uitgesteld met een week in o.a Zweden en Finland. Maar geld dit ook voor Nederland? Ik kan nergens vinden dat hij hier is uitgesteld. In landen  als bijv. België en de UK is hij(nog)niet uitgesteld. Gaat dit ook voor ons gelden? Of komt hij hier gewoon de
28/29 uit?

I emailed Game UK on Friday for clarification, let's see what I get next week. Time is starting to run out if I need to flip my order to somewhere else.



P.S. for all the Bioware haters, remember Bioware are the developers and Chris is the community dude. EA are responsible for the actually printing and manufacturing of the game itself. Therefore it's highly likely that Bioware are already aware and are waiting for an update from the various European offices. A 'yes, we're looking into it' would be appreciated, mind.

I haven't checked my mail yet (pre-ordered the CE from the UK), but to be honest this doesn't bother me that much. I still have at least one more ME playthrough to finish, and even if I didn't I'm going to be abroad on business several times over the next couple of weeks anyway, so no time to play.

Your welcome I am much sure now that we will get it on release date. But as i said i will call FRS monday if they know anything. It would be very weird if EA games send the shops an email Monday the week that the CE is delayed. As Monday the game is only 4 days away. Otherwise i think i will have to wait another week. As i don't want to go trough the hassle of canceling my pre-order.

But can we please get an respone from Bioware?! A replay that you guys are looking into it is good. I feel like we are completely ignored.

Thank the Maker. I think the reason it's not delayed in the Netherlands and Belgium is because they use the "English/british/UK" version. As long as the Uk is safe, we Dutch people should be too, I think.

What really pisses me of is that BioWare can't even be bothered to officially recognize that there is a problem.

So, the CE is delayed, fine i can live with that, **** happens. I can wait another week to play the game, read the comic etc.

Sure i could cancel my preorder and buy it from Steam etc. but i want to support my regular store, i want the artBOOK, the comicBOOK not the pdfs (or whatever format they may be)

It pisses me off that BioWare is stonewalling their arguably biggest fans in europe (the ones willing to pay the extra money for some ME fluff).

The fact that they are ignoring this problem makes me lose faith in the company.

Apparently BioWare isn't the company i thought it was...

The last Dev post was 4 hours ago and now they've gone home for the weekend, whitch means we have to go the whole weekend wondering what's going on.

I don't care who's fault it is, if it's a shipping/printing/localization problem, I don't want an exuse or to hear you say you're sorry, i just want answers...

@ Tony77A So true. I am 99% 100% sure that one or more of the Bioware staff has readed this topic. But for some kind of reason they just dont reply to it. Is it to make sure that people don't cancel their CE pre-orders? If they dont know it, Ok. No problem. But not even one reply? Cant they say that they are looking into it? And the chance is big Bioware does know if it is delayed or not. I mean, Why shouldn't they know? It is 5 days ago the first topic came up.

@ just another fan: Yeah i think so. However i really don't hope that it IS delayed but EA NL/BE/UK etc. just don't know it yet. But time will tell... However the chance is big it isn't delayed.

Well, like I mentioned before, I've sent a message to Chris Priestly, and I'm sure he'll respond when there's something verified to tell. It might be that they're looking into this matter on the BioWare side and have yet to receive a definitive answer from EA. Plus, it's the weekend now.

It's true that the problem lies with EA's European distribution, but mr. Priestly has taken a look into similar publisher-side concerns before and came up with a reply on these forums (e.g. the concern regarding the Cerberus Network card in Australia).

I am certain that BioWare has nothing to do with this delay, it's probably EA or some printer who's got problems, but ME2 is still BioWare's game. It's to them us fans will turn for infomation when our local gameshops can't give us answers.
That europeans are second-rate citizens in the eyes of BioWare has imo become blatantly apparent. They're probably too busy pushing the North American release. A simple "We're looking in to it" would satify me.
I'm sorry if my tone is harsh and i'm whining, but i'm very disappointed with the lack of info.

Dat klinkt hoopgevend. Zolang ik geen mailtje van FRS krijg is er nog geen reden voor paniek.
