Must have been a huge typo on the cover of the CE box to delay it for so many countries this long... maybe someone working night shift wrote the title without the letter 'M'.

Darn, mine was shipped 26th from Game, I PRAY it takes 3 days to arrive rather than 5, cause "buissines days" excludes the weekend, which means next week...And Game's email assured me I'm getting it at release date...which is tomorrow...GOD, the waiting is killing me... ;(

In Bulgaria all CE copies were sold/pre-ordered in 1 hour! Many people, including myself, were constantly checking our retailer's site, hoping to pre-order a copy... and only few of us managed to do it. After less than an hour, after the offer appeared on the site, everything was sold out... 
And now the people of UK have EXTRA copies, which aren't sold yet (game.co.uk site says "In Stock"...). So basicly people from UK can go to their stores and just get a CE copy... without pre-orders, waiting and etc...
Big dissapointment from EA...

But then, you are content at being a second-rate market?
A market whose's product can easily pulled away to supply a bigger market?

Uhm...no But tell me, what do you suggest we do about it...complain to EA/other publishers? And our products are not pulled away, they were, and usually always are, in extremely limited quantities (regarding CE's, I mean)...so nothing to pull away from us, I'm afraid...

edit: But our market is only beginning to expand, I really believe it has a future... )

On the european delay I havent read the whole thread so I dont know if this is relevant. The CE is available here in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK. But ive heard uncomfirmed reports that its not available in southern Ireland which isnt part of the UK. Which seems pretty damn strange. It requires absolutely no localisation.

Usually if UK gets a game we get it over here as well......this is so wrong....

Wow sorry man didnt mean to panic you. I really cant confirm if thats true or not. I read it on another thread on here some guy from down south said his was delayed, guy in gamestop up here said he heard that too. But i really cant say for certain. Your best bet is to call wherever you have it pre-ordered or some local stores they should be able to tell you if they have had their stock delivered yet. Up here has had it since tuesday apparently.

I have heard about gamestop in Athlone won't be getting any CEs from this thread but its not confirmed. I went to gamestop over here in Dublin to ask if CE will be delayed, the employee heard of it but not very sure. However in their systems it still said to be released on the 29th. I'm going t give them a call tomorrow though.

This is outrageous its the day before the European release and there a no official confirmation of this issue on delays of some European countries. We are also customers who preordered the game and paying for it. I think we deserve some explanations, which I doubt we are going to get.

You get some sort of book and a piece of armour and a weapon with the collectors oh and a nice tin case apart from that the regular also has the Cerberus network code which gives you Zaeed character which is like over 400mb and Normandy Crash Site, I also got to download the Blood Dragon Armour as I have DragonAge as well.

Aside from that, I find the Collector's Edition bonuses worth it, but that may just be me.

What do YOU want out of a Collector's Edition over a standard version of the game?

Well imo the collectors edition should be the one with the Cerberus code only because thats a lot of content to put in a regular edition meaning that the value of a so-called collectors is heavily redundant.



Same thing with DragonAge I bought the collectors edition thinking wow I get all this i.e. Shale, Dragon Armour and some bonus items all part of the collectors edition as Shale costs 1200msp on its own so thought it was a great deal to spend the extra.

However I found out that the regular has Shale and Dragon Armour! And the extra bonus items were rubbish!



So am glad that I got the regular edition because I will not be sucked or ripped off into get the collectors edition so imo anyone getting the collectors edition is just throwing away cash for a tin which is quite funny actually.

When did you go to gamestop? When i read that thread earlier i charged to gamestop in a panic and he basically waved my CE at me. If you went in the last couple of days they should have been able to just check if they have it out back. Doesnt sound good. In worst case scenario though if it is delayed and you are super desperate to get it this weekend you could always get it up north you will probably get it cheaper in £ anyway. Mine is £44 not sure what that is in euro though.

Yes, it's completely understandable, I realize that we are a no name country to EA... but maybe this should give them a indication to try harder increasing their position in such countries. Instead they pull such a stunt (and it's not for the first time) and drive away future customers. There are probably 150-200 CE copies, which were pre-ordered from ALL Eastern-European countries combined - that's probably 1/10 of the provided UK's Collectors Editions. And in the end the UK market will be overextended with copies while other will suffer.
Blaaah, I can't think or worry anymore. There are probably a dozen of people, working in EA and getting their checks, whose job is exactly that. And apparently they don't give a ****.

The items like Shale and the Cerberus Network are incentives to buy the game new. The fact that you thought they were exclusive to Collectors Editions... that's, I'm sad to say, your own fault. As far as I recall, it was mentioned that they weren't.

Atleast the UK got a tin case this time. With the Dragon Age CE in the end we only got a cardboard sleeve, 3 ingame items and a bonus disk. The Tin Case and Cloth Map wasn't included...

The last time I went to Gamestop was the 25th, just the Monday this week. I checked an Irish forum and according to one of the poster he rang gamestop and they are getting copies in and are selling them tomorrow and so is GAME.

As a side note, that poster also said GAME did not know if they will be getting any copies in at all at first when he first try to preorder the CE. So the stores aren't even informed about if there will be a delay or not.

So hopefully this news is true for those from Ireland on here:)
