Sitting here seeing RANDOM people get their CE's regardless of country or even city as it seems... (No offense, happy for you guys who GOT the CE/game)

Sitting here and have to wait for ANOTHER 5-7 days AFTER the release!
Feel like they took our copies and said, ''hey, this big buying country buys more games, lets give them the games and **** on all others''

It is still weird why you guys here in the EU still didn't get the CE. But why did(such as Holland,Belgium,UK ) I mean... The CE i received is in full English. Not a single word of Dutch. But i really hope that you guys will receive the CE as soon as possible! I know how you guys are feeling. But it is worth the wait! The game is really awesome!

ME1 was actually localized here in sweden, the back of the box and the manual was in swedish so it might be the same for ME2.



As for the rerouting of CEs to other countries makes no sense.

The CEs being shipped to lets say sweden are already sold (most of them at least), and rerouting them to the UK for potential customers seems very stupid, business wise.

Sold copies vs. unsold copies plus the cancellations from affected countries, is just bad business.

Unless they oversold the CE horribly in whitch case it makes more sense, but it's still bad business.



That said, if i find out that they rerouted the CE to some other country i'm never buying a EA game again!

I mean it's not like we'd start a riot if we knew why/who quite the oposite in fact if I knew I could atleast think "ok that's reasonable....I think" now im just waiting without knowing and that pisses me of... a bit. When did you go to gamestop? When i read that thread earlier i charged to gamestop in a panic and he basically waved my CE at me. If you went in the last couple of days they should have been able to just check if they have it out back. Doesnt sound good. In worst case scenario though if it is delayed and you are super desperate to get it this weekend you could always get it up north you will probably get it cheaper in £ anyway. Mine is £44 not sure what that is in euro though.

The last time I went to Gamestop was the 25th, just the Monday this week. I checked an Irish forum and according to one of the poster he rang gamestop and they are getting copies in and are selling them tomorrow and so is GAME.

As a side note, that poster also said GAME did not know if they will be getting any copies in at all at first when he first try to preorder the CE. So the stores aren't even informed about if there will be a delay or not.

So hopefully this news is true for those from Ireland on here:)

Happy days, sounds like there shouldnt be a problem then . You would think at this point though they would have been able to offer definate clarification. I was told to call gamestop tonight to see if they were allowed to sell it early but I was denied. Ah well tomorrow awaits. I wish you luck on your quest for the CE.

This is amusing to me now - I received Pre-load stating that the digital deluxe collectors was not available - here in the U.S. and have since been ignored by EA about how to get what I paid for.

I just got my CE and its pretty good. need to play it and enjoy all the free stuff especially the armor.

In Bulgaria all CE copies were sold/pre-ordered in 1 hour! Many people, including myself, were constantly checking our retailer's site, hoping to pre-order a copy... and only few of us managed to do it. After less than an hour, after the offer appeared on the site, everything was sold out... 
And now the people of UK have EXTRA copies, which aren't sold yet (game.co.uk site says "In Stock"...). So basicly people from UK can go to their stores and just get a CE copy... without pre-orders, waiting and etc...
Big dissapointment from EA...

Well, i think it's impossibile. Surely Bulgaria is not a big market, stil i don't think they moved compy from Bulgaria to UK. Realistically the CE were in stock of the local distributor weeks before the release date, the distributor not always is the reseller. In Italy we have GameStop and BlockBuster that are Distributor and Reseller and we also have a bunch of minor reseller that use LeaderSPA for distribution. So we have Gamestop that get a temporal Exlusive for the CE and they start selling it the 27th, and the other can't (theorically) before 29th. The CE isn't a Limited edition is a Collector edition and there isn't a fixet quantity for it. The guy at gamestop shop told me they had ordered like 50 Normal and 30 Collector for x360 and they get like 30% more copyes of both version. I can assure you than that extracopies aren't rerouted from Bulgaria cause all are localized in Italian language. What i'm tring to say is that you should consider the case that your local distributor misspredictet the quantity to order to EA and they sold out the few they had in one our. Obviously placing a new order so near the official release date might cause a dalay.

A little update, Webhallen (Sweden) supposedly shipped my Xbox 360 CE today. The status has changed on the website and, well, there's no reason to believe that they changed it just for the hell of it.

So yeah, I'll get it early next week. Could have been worse.

I got my CE edition, but the dlc either doesn't work or has corrupted my files. The DAO armor is corrupted in ME2 and DAO now. The Cerberus network sent me a corrupted Normandy mission that corrupted my Collector Armor and my old ME1 save file. And my local EB Games didn't get enough pre-order dlc cards. So while I feel bad for those who didn't get their CE copies, maybe you should be thankful...mine caused me nothing but headaches

I can confirm that Webhallen are sending out 360 CE's in Sweden, they shipped mine today. Alas, no such luck for the PC version, have one copy ordered on behalf of a friend (since I have free shipping there) which is only listed as ordered, not shipped.

The dutch got it early, because default Shepard is modeled from dutch model

So it looks like it's primarily the PC version that is delayed in Sweden.

Too bad i'm a PC player.
