I received my CE yesterday, from the romanian retailer gameshop.ro.

It was a week late and I received no pre-order codes. And I pre-ordered the game on december 4th 2009!! They actually offered a choice between the Terminus(w&a) and Inferno(a), until they delayed the CE version.

On other news... my CE is now delayed until NEXT week. *BEEP*! They spent last week telling me I'd get it THIS week, and now it's the same story all over again. And I was so sure it arrived this morning, but the package contained my order of movie soundtracks instead. And get this, there was another package as well... I was like "Hey, this has to be it", but no... there was a book inside.

I'll translate the replies I've received from my retailer. The first one is to me personally, the second to all ME2 CE pre-order customers at Puolenkuun Pelit. The first one does say restock - they used the Finnish equivalent of getting more copies from the importer... did they have copies and I just couldn't get one even though I pre-ordered on December 12th? Bah.

Yes, but it took some prodding to get any answers out of them. I guess they're really flying in the dark, as it were. EA apparently sends no information to its client importers/retailers either.

I hear you. I am also still waiting here @ Finland to get my copy of ME2 CE, Xbox 360 version for me. Yesterday, store where I pre-ordered said in email that they should get it today and send it, but no information about sending anything to me today. So I guess another week of waiting.

Oh man, that's all kinds of messed up Archmage. On the matter of the retailer possibly having had copies of the CE that they may have sent to people who ordered after you, I've heard of this phenomenon happening with others before (actually, most recently I read that some people who preordered from Gamestop didn't get their preorder codes because they didn't have enough codes and whoever came into the stores first got the codes). It's weird, feels like this is a thing that shouldn't happen.



On a separate note, ME2 takes forever to install. I've got a pretty beefy PC rig, with a I7 920 overclocked to 3.8GHz, and it's been installing since I made my last post here (which was what, more than an hour ago?). This happens with all my "newer" games, but for whatever reason I connect this with EA games (my other games that take long ot install were also distributed by EA). Odd.

Indeed, and VPD still has over 30 in stock. This is just not fair. I just sent another email to konsolinet, where I pre-ordered mine. Now I wait for more answers.

Well, I did not get mine today. No surprise really: All my other orders from CDON have taken around 2-3 days to arrive. Monday it is then.

I'm waiting alongside you, Archmage. As I wrote earlier, CDON's problems caused my order to be delayed to next week.  Last time I waited this long for a game, it ended up being terrific though, so I'm optimistic.

Sorry to hear it's still delayed for you Finnish folks. Archmage Silvery, if the store you pre-ordered from doesn't provide the DLC ask for a pre-order statement and a proof of purchase (provided you can with Finland's laws) - my local store didn't have any, but once I mailed both documents to EA Support I quickly received an Inferno DLC code.

Wow, it sucks that a lot of you still haven't gotten your CEs. Not that I'm surprised. It was more or less blind luck that I got mine Thursday rather than next week or not at all it seems.

And still no official info from Bioware or EA, not even a "Sorry, we're not allowed to comment on that" or whatever...

Well, I got my CE yesterday, all went well until about two hours in the game where mass effect started to, and keeps crashing my pc, even outside of the game, my gpu seems to be completely fried, awesome..

Same thing happened in me1, just that it crashed once and only destroyed my save games. me2 seems to take these crashes to a whole new level.

And lol, my pc easily meets the requirements for me2.

Anyways hope you enjoyed my whine post, had to tell someone, and best of luck for everyone that still haven't gotten their CE yet. :S

Got a mail from CDON (I live in Norway) just three days ago informing me that my order had been filled. That was Wednesday, and I've yet to get it. Kind of bummed, as I had expected to get it yesterday, just in time for the weekend and all. But no, now I'll have to wait 'till Monday.



Saw the CE siting on the counter at Platekompaniet(game/music/movie retailer) yesterday, but I'm too careful when it comes to money, and decided to just wait for the one from CDON.

Got another reply which essentially states that verkkokauppa.com should get a large-ish shipment today, but due to the number of orders that they have it will probably take a few days until deliveries arrive. Apparently they've also received CEs of the wrong region which has also slowed down the process.



I checked out several stores Saturday and all of them either didn't have the 360 CE or had sold it out, so I'm just happy if I get mine.

Booya! Got it today and installing now! The only thing that was missing was inferno armor code, but that's not such a big deal for me. I look into it later.

Had no problems with cerberus activation or anything. Worked just fine.

Package in general was great. Have no regrets getting it.



Ah, the installation is ready. Time to play, finally.

Good to hear that you got it. Don't worry about the extra armor. I actually never used it since you can't remove the helmet, and I want to see the face I've spent a long time making during cutscenes and so.

Crap, that sucks. Have you thought about ordering it from somewhere else? Coolshop say they're getting a new batch in stock on the 9th, so I'm sure other places may be getting more stock as well...

According to the info on verkkokauppa.com's website ( http://www.verkkokau...fo.php?id=47460 ), the importer has received a shipment today, just like the e-mail stated. This means that they'll be arriving to stores in a few days... probably.

Man that must suck, and that no one isn't even offering some sort of apology makes it a whole lot worse. I think you all should be compensated.
