I wouldn't know about that Sabre120, but I'll refrain from speculating it further, because from my angle it seems like a problem with EA's European distribution more than anything else.

I checked at the 9lives forum (a Belgian games website). It seems that Belgium gets the digital deluxe CE, so no worries for us about printing problems...

Things are so confusing. Some people are saying that Game Mania really will get a Digital Deluxe Edition for the 360 CE but then they would be like the only shop in the world to sell the DDE for the 360 which would seem odd to me. The CE at FRS or Consoleshop doesn't mention anything about it being digital or about the extra items you get with the DDE.

Although if it is really the DDE at Game Mania then there won't be any delay.

Digital deluxe aren't affected. Only collectors-in-box (in stores or pre-ordered).

It doesn't matter if you have it preordered, you are likely to have this issue if you're from the list of countries that appear at the first post. And maybe there are even more countries.

The CE already has been removed from their catalog since a long time. That's because they have reached maximum amount of pre-orders they can have for the CE. It has nothing to do with the delay, so that's no reason to panic .

I keep trying to think of what could possibly delay the CE. Physical differences between CE/SD: cover, tin, artbook, comic, extra dvd. I'd think that cover/tin/extra dvd are out of the question, those were probably finished a good while back. It would make sense that the artbook and comic were made some time ago too.



So what's left that could cause widespread delay known more than a week before intended delivery? I'm thinking there was a malfunction and the packing machines filled the CE tins with angry spiders (spiders are always angry) or bees (usually angry) instead of game discs, and this was only recently discovered - much to the horror of the discoveree.



Just trying to be humorous, that's all - I've decided to be laid back about the delay. Won't it be hilarious if Priestly comes here and says that the delay was just a silly lie from some malicious dude at the EA distribution office?

I am 99% sure that that is an error. I think they just used the information from the EA store. Why whould only one shop get an different version? That would be kinda strange. I am almost sure that the people who get the CE from them are getting the ''real'' CE.
