I was wondering, Is EAX sound supported?
If so what would be the commands i need to input to enable it within Creative alchemy?

Can you do the same thing with people using XP? I have a Soundblaster S-FI and can only get 2 channels sound. I remember Mass Effect had something like that where you have to edit something in the setting to get 4.1 or higher to work. It is wierd for a game that this age that doesn't have an option to turn on EAX or change speaker setting.
Hope there is a solution soon.
EDIT: Nevermind, 5.1 sound is working now.

Do you happen to know which path to point it to if using the Steam version of DA?

I don't think DAO use DirectSound3D, so why do we need ALchemy?

No DOA doesn't use EAX or any HW sound, even if you install Alchemy. I have a SB XI FI and installed alchemy and I get no extra sound options. I WISH i did though!
DAO won't even use OpenAL

there might not be any extra options per se but there are effects that are noticeable in-game. I say do it anyway, its not like it is gonna hurt anything.
