 my ps3 version of dragon age wont load my character and stats to the bioware website and it has the same email and password and everything and ive been waiting since before christmas. Can someone help me to resolve this problem. Thanks KIN9

Yup, that's "normal" now.  Mine stopped uploading a month ago at least.

Same here. I keep getting an error message after it first says "connecting to Dragon Age servers", then "checking Downloadable content" saying "Unable to access your online profile storage, the game has encountered an error." Not a big worry for me as I don't care about my online profile, and the error does not appear to affect gameplay, my only concern is that at some point, will this cause touble when I try to download some DLC.

I've heard a lot of people have this problem, I'm one of them. It stopped updating completely for me now. A couple of week's ago it uploaded but it changed all my character profile faces to the same character.

I've never been able to upload my characters and I got the game just after release on the PS3 - Never had any problems with the DLC just the Character uploads.

I having the same problem. So its proably a screwup with the playstation network.

I don't think its PSN, I believe it to be a problem with BW's network.

This being the technical support for the ps3, and I guess that the guyes from BW read this, they will solve the problemes where having.

Only a month, you are lucky. Mine has been like that since ONE week after release. Character 1 made it to LV13, no pic uploaded...

I'm on Char 3 at Lv18. No change. Ever.
I can't even get the blasted PC downloaded Char-Creator to upload a character. So nix on that nifty little ring DLC for me.

Maybe it will be fixed -just- in time for it to break for Awakenings.

Hrm, I wonder if it's related to error 1005 that I have in my PS3 profile diagnostics:

1005 - Extra unexpected files uploaded for this character.



It's never managed to upload any portrait or avatar btw.

I have been trying to upload my stats too and I do not have the same email or password for the ps3 as I do on this site. Didn't know I needed it when I signed up. But isn't that risky? Having the exact same details? I mean, I have to sign up to PS Network before I can sign into EA/Bioware to do what I want to do. Having the same details seems insane to me.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I have read the FAQ here and I just don't get how it works.

You first login to PSN with that login and then to the Dragon Age servers with an EA account. They do not have to be the same email/password.

Same here, trophies are working fine but i haven't gotten stat updates in a long time.

Trophies and stats work fine for me, though character images and portraits have not worked since my first throwaway character. I too experience the loss of contact with the DAO servers, and also see the numerous "1005 - Extra unexpected files uploaded for this character", as well as two others.

(1008 is one).



With all the other issues, I doubt this gets fixed anytime soon. I'd rather have RTO out.

It is a problem with the BW servers, not PSN servers. For whatever reason they cannot link without causing errors. There are some people who are lucky and do not experience this, but most do. I "think" Bioware is aware of the problem but I don't know if they are doing anything about it. Additionally, there is a minor problem with Dragon Age trophies which will not save to your PSN profile for some time. So for those about to send their PS3 into repair, as i did, keep this in mind.

All my trophies update but none of my characters update. I have multiple characters but my profile only says one. i get the "Unable to access your online profile storage, the game has encountered an error" message also.

same problem here too.. PS3 fans deserve some exclusive DLC for all these troubles !!!

hope you're kidding...we are LUCKY to have bioware bless us with one of their games...stop complaining before this is the LAST game they give us ps3 fans.

going back on topic...same happens to me...hopefully bioware fixes this...because i know i want my arcance warrior as my avatar
