@ Unrefined Nemesis. I have to admit to some skepticism when you first claimed to have solo No Reloaded Nightmare with a Two Hander. I think I'm getting it now though. Indomitable + Magic Resistance + Con + High Healing Response + Poultices + Swift Salves sounded good in theory but -more importantly- it appears to be a workable formula in practice as well. ( You are right: the Swift Salves are crucial BTW.) In my mind, a Two Hander Nightmare No Reload has shifted from the nigh impossible category to doable with a lot of patience and excruciating attention to detail. Thanks!

I've played through Dragon Age so many times on nightmare before I became a masochist to do a no reload solo nightmare with a two hander after finding nightmare boring with reloads as the trill wasn't there anymore. I'm going on sadist masochist mission of going No Reload, No Potions, No Salves and Party Members Solo nightmare. 

Up to 5 characters all dead by the time I reached the Uldred.

(*) As mentioned earlier, I'm reluctant to start a new No
Reload Challenge thread now because I'm about to leave for
India and can't take on the responsibility. I'm defintely
interested in your character's journey though. Good luck!

So you know, for solo No Reload play, I find Normal provides ample challenge.

Nightmare with a party provides balance and a fun role playing experience.

Unhinged is playing a No-Reload game with two daggers and no armor until after I complete Return to Ostagar; Elissa is actually going to be butt naked until she can equip Calian's armor.

I completed the City Elf Origin for the first time yesterday. I feel compelled to let her complete the adventure in her Wedding Clothes. That makes so much sense to me...

Understood. Uldred is a big hurdle for some classes in Solo No Reload play.

Didn't work, unfortunately; the Ogre of Ishal ended her journey.

Found the No Reload thread on the other board and am taking a run at it now. So far Emlin (DC dual-weapon warrior, Normal(I've only beaten the game once, period, not going to try more then that on a second run )) has gotten to 15, Circle, Orzamarr, Return to Ostagar (she's living in Cailan's armor now) and Stone Prisoner down and she's not fallen once. Even the others have gone pretty well so far (Morrigan:1, Leliana:1, Dog:1, Oghren:1, all others 0, though Zev, Sten and Shale it would be due to not taking them anywhere) So far, I'd say Wynne is the biggest reason so far. And not just due to heals, Paralyze (spell and glyph) are amazing help in limited bust damage to manageable levels.

While Emlin certainly isn't a max Con build, she is higher then base (20 unadjusted). With good tactics and support from gear and team (Wynne and Leliana haven't left my party since getting them) I think I just might manage to pull this off. Ser Cuthian is going to be a tricky part though, probably just going to surrender and not risk the fight.

I can not do a con only character.It is so boring simply being a tank that can not hit anything.
