Since Mordin is not on the list, I think it's most probable that Kasumi is Mordin. Perhaps it's his last name or an old name the Devs gave him, etc.

It could very well be that this Kasumi was a planned party member that got axed and the only thing remaining is that left over code.

That would make sense though.... Both Zaeed and Kasumi could have been the original members of the 12 man roster, but because of time constraints and or too much work to fit on a disc, they probably edited them out and now will release them as DLC, along with other characters for the future....pretty cool stuff!
