With my xbox recovering from RROD for 2-3 weeks, it would be nice to have an alternative (I don't have a PC).  I noticed that Dragon Age has a mac version.  Is there any word as to whether there might be a mac ME2?  Shot in the dark, but a gal can dream...

Lesson: Get a PC. Macs don't game.

Or bootcamp. But get a PC anyway.

Last I checked, ME2 isn't supported by Macs.

You will have to wait probably.

OR.

Use bootcamp and dualboot with windows.

Oh, and I'm on a MAC. One of the reasons Blizzard is one of most successful gaming companies is their accessibility of their games to ANYONE, poor specs, or on a MAC.

Go Diablo III wo00t.

Err, why can't you just use that Bootcamp thing for your Mac? From what I've heard about the DA:O Mac port, it's not that great (and some other Mac guy said he even played the PC version on his Mac until he started getting some sort of weird problem - something about a possible virus/wiping stuff - sorry, it was a while back). Anyway...no, there is no Mac version of ME2 (and I find it highly unlikely that there will be one in the future).

Definitely go bootcamp. What macbook pro you got?

Be sweet to play ME2 on a 17in. because that'll easily run it.

Actually I have the 13" aluminum macbook unibody (not a pro), the 13" pro came out about 2 months after I got it :crying:.  It's not much of a gaming monster.  The problem is bootcamp won't let me partition because it can't move some of the files for some reason. I was just looking for a quick fix until my xbox came back, but I guess I'm out of luck.

This is why I had an XBox, so I wouldn't have to game on my macbook.  I sank enough cash into PCs over the last 10 years to buy a car and got sick of the money pit of hard drive crashes and constant upgrades. XBox has been way easier on the wallet, gaming-wise.

Try bootcamp but I don't think a Macbook Pro can run Mass Effect 2.

I've got a Macbook 13" White Mid-2009 model and so far I've been able to run DA: O on medium settings with anti-aliasing set to 2x (4gb RAM upgrade paid off). I went to 'Can You Run It' and tested my mac for ME2 and it says it meets minimum reqs so I shouldn't see why your 'bootcamped' macbook should have any major trouble. Try it...and so will I
