If the BioWare moderators aren't going to ban those people, or allow the volunteer moderators to do so, then BioWare is going to end up losing customers. However, since not everyone visits a game developer's website, it probably won't be enough people to change some policies, unfortunately.the_one_54321 wrote...
Send a PM with a link to the post and a link to the players profile to a mod. I figure if they hear it enough, they might start to do something about it. Unless they've been specifically instructed to leave the "customers" to do as they please.
The current behavior on this site is unacceptable

In an earlier post in this thread, Kevin Lynch said he was taking this thread straight to Dev Victor Wachter. I hope Victor's victory over Trollkind will become a future News Announcement.Rheannan wrote...

'Swearing' does not suddenly equal immaturity. Tsticking with puritan ideals, for example, shows how repressed a person is. The old forums had way too many restrictions for most to enjoy them... this time around, you people should claim some responsibility and actually tailor your experience so that the rest of us don't need to suffer under your version of 'maturity'.
Ignore is there for a reason. Use it.

I respectfully decline. I will continue to report threads and posters that break the rules.

And it's in the rules, so Adanu? I'll report egregious uses as well and hope they eventually get banned.

The ye'ol BioBoard is moderated sell and members are orderly, you'd find interesting topics about ME2 left and right. It's a bit hard to sift thru all this spam and hate going around here.

We want cozy, clean Forums. Troll infestations drive customers away.

I do hope this doesn't mean we have to drink the specially prepared blood of forum trolls to properly combat them. I sense legal repercussions.Chokladglass wrote...

Perhaps the Ban Hammer needs a Tier Material power-up.

An FFVII remake will not come anytime soon nor may it be even made. Deal with it because if you can't, you could always simply grab the nearest razor blade and you know the rest.
This is exactly the kinda thing I do NOT wanna see on these Forums. <_< Mr. Victor, is the Ban Hammer Tier Material upgrading done yet?

Are you delibrately stalking me on the forum and cherry picking the parts where i insulted someone and outright ignored the public apology towards the opposing member?Tyrax Lightning wrote...

I'm sorry but you don't get to choose who gets banned and who doesn't.
By the way, remove those pictured from your profile, you know what i am talking about, i may have lost my cool against a single forum member, but it gives you absolutely no right to take screenshots and try to use it to defame me considering i apologized to the member.

He did openly appologize to me. While I was not happy with his behavior at the time, he's been polite and said he was sorry since then. So there is no need for any more negativity.SithLordExarKun wrote...

I wonder, are the olders posters from the times of the first Bioware games getting old?,
You mean the ones who still follow the forum rules and terms of service? Age doesn't have much to do with following the rules though. On another forum one member was really well behaved, polite, and helpful; then like Jekyll and Hyde, he posted like a hyper kid that just drank a case of red bull to wash down the five pounds of sugar he ate; spammed, insulted everyone, and generally behaved like an ass. The moderators sent him an email, basically saying "What the heck is going on?" and found out that the calm, reasonable, rule-abiding poster was 14 years old. The hyper jerk was the father who used the kid's account. The kid was told to make a new account, cause his dad was not going to last long the way he was acting.
