When it cpomes out I'd like to get it on PC. Can my computer run it?
Specs:
Windows Vista 32bit
Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2.10GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.1GHz
Memory: 3070MB RAM
Graphics Card: nVidia Geforce 8400M 1.5 GB
I read the Geforce 8400 isn't supported by Mass Effect 2. I'm just wondering if I could run this on at Medium or Low settings because it's a bit ridiculous when my computer can run Crysis on max settings but not run this AT ALL.
Can I run Mass Effect 2?

I can run Modern Warefare 2 fine with no problems, that's the most recent game.

I have a
Vista 32 bit system
Intel mobile core Duo P8600 (2 CPU's) 2.4 GHz
GeForce 9800M GTS
4 GB Ram
As far as I understand this should be sufficient to run this game. When I run the game however, after the intro it suddenly jumps from what looks to be the main screen of the game and to the Cerberus login screen. Here you are asked to login to the network and have the option of "contimue" or "cancel". No matter which one I choose the screen then tells me to "please wait" for about forever!!!!! I then have to go to Task Manager and terminate the game. The funny thing though is that the game is still present on the "processes" tab. If I try to run the game again nothing happens, and it will not go away unless I reboot!
Please heeelllllp!!

Crysis has a different engine. You can't just compare the two. I also don't believe you. Max settings? My Geforce 9600 GT (desktop) has trouble running Crysis on high at 1280x1024.AM180 wrote...

The biggest problem is the graphics chip. While the 8400M has all the required features and should at least run, the framerate will probably not be high enough for the game to be playable. Even if you can somehow concentrate hard enough to play a game at less than ten frames per second, which is probably how you played Crysis, Mass Effect 2 does not function properly with a framerate like this. You need at least 12 frames per second to interact with characters and object and at least 30 frames per second for the music to be in sync with the cutscenes.
Selja, try turning off one processor core in the task manager. Right click the ME2 process and go to set affinity.
