OK, I live in Australia, and out video game prices are outrageous. The Collector's Edition of ME2 is costing $108 Australian, which is equal to $98 United States.

Considering I can get the same thing from Amazon for $60 United States which is equal to $66 Australian, that is a sore deal.

Question is: Is there any downside to buying the game internationally? Any potential issues with activation, codes, ANYTHING I need to know about?

Thanks a heap in advance.

Chris already stated the game is region locked. SO you can only get it from your region.

That's just...great. So we're ripped off as usual by $40 because our gaming sellers are greedy.

*Sigh*

Thanks for the answer though, mate. :)

Its not just the game retailers but its your country's government and its stance against the media, they issue a lot of taxes on games and guess who pays for those.

Our game sellers are even greedier over the ditch here in NZ. The STANDARD edition costs $130. Ive never seen a standard edition so expensive, The price just seems to be slowly raising over the years.

Yes, ten years aro $89 was the average, then $99, now over $100. It is most irritating.

I feel for you Kiwis though.

Region locks are soooooooooo last century. Bah, I just wish they'd get rid of that crap.

Reminds me of the attempts to lock DVDs to regions. That worked...not.

Australia is part of the PAL region, so look into the UK version and see if it's cheaper for you that way.
