I haven't been paying close enough attention to the game vids and such. Since we know that say the Vanguard can not use the assult rifle that means he will not carry it around with him right? It was kinda gratting having to have all the wepond on characters that could only master a pistol.
Do we still carry wapons we don't use?

I was wondering this too. I love being an infiltrator but carrying around the assault rifle and shotgun made no sense.

In ME1 you could basically use every weapon, thats why you carried them all. This time you are restricted to certain types, thus carrying only those.

Yeah cuz it does suck in ME1 where you got the best armour and gun that you use but your sniper and shotgun are the first guns at the start which look very bland. I see they added an SMG so maybe classes will get that as a choice rather than assault rifle which basicly was an all round weapon at times.

yes from the vids so far each class is not restricted to a set weapons list they pick from during the beginning of a mission.
