Has anyone else pre-ordered thier CE from Amazon with a shipping date of release day and it still showing "Not Yet Shipped?" Making a little nervous. I ordered it back in November so I know they had them in stock when I ordered it.

Ordrered mine December 28th and it's also showing that it hasn't been shipped yet. Don't think they've charged me yet either.

From my previous experience of Release date shipping through Amazon. You will most likely see some movement on SUnday night such as Processing and then shipped overnight on Monday.

I got release day delivery on Dragon Age and they shipped overnight. No worries.

I'm in the same boat. But just guessing since I have never done release date delivery before but I assume that they'll send it over night to make sure it doesn't arrive early. So we should see activity Sunday and Monday, delivery on Tuesday.

Amazon has so many more shipping centers now than they used to that even for Amazon Prime users like myself, they can ship an item ground to me and still have it arrive (reliably) the next day. So I have fully expected my copy not to ship till Monday in order to arrive by Tuesday, and the comments of the rest of you here are reassuring me!

Yeah, my typical Amazon distribution center is <100 miles away. Packages generally go ground the whole way and arrive the day or the day after I get an "order has shipped" notice/tracking number dependent on how late they get picked up by the shippers (generally UPS for me).



Seems like that's what their aiming for, a distribution center within 100-200 miles of anywhere in the continental US.

they charge the day BEFORE they ship. They usually ship "release date shipping" items the day before the item is scheduled for release. Don't expect a shipping update until monday morning at the earliest.
