*sigh* why does there need to be race restrictions on the romances as well? Makes me very very sad and makes my lady dwarf sad as well 

 

But as for who I think the rest of the LIs would be I'm going to go with Solas and Dorian for the other male LI's and Scribbles for the other female LI. I'd prefer Iron Bull or Blackwall for some male LIs but I doubt that'll happen . As for their sexuality I have no clue so I won't even begin to guess at that one, though I am surprised that they didn't make Sera Bi, not complaining just surprised.

The reason iron Bull is seen as not for dwarf (imo at least) is the size different. a Dwarf Lady would only be what.. up to his Knee if your lucky? at least Dwarf + Human or Elf its a lot less of a size difference.

I'm bummed about the race restrictions in general though for the romances I like big height differences I think they're adorable and I'm worried that my lady dwarf would either get one option or none and while I know he has a lot of fans if Varric turns out to be the only LI for a dwarf I'm going to be very unhappy. No one should get the short end of the stick for playing their favorite race right? And plus Iron Bull will hop into bed with whatever he's sure won't break and dwarves are pretty sturdy  lol

 

Edit: if he's just not an LI thats fine he looks like good bro material too but I'm just not liking the idea of race restricted romances at all plus unless there are a lot of LIs I don't think that he's going to be one in DA game Bioware seems to favor men with stubble and elves.

Cassandra (Bisexual. Though I'm conflicted. Maybe Straight.)

Iron Bull (Bisexual) (Qunari/Human only?)

Dorian (Bisexal)

Solas (Gay)

Sera (Confirmed Gay)

 

Basically I think we'll get a 2/3/2 split, evenly divided between genders.

The Dorian being Bi prediction is likely my bias talking, but oh well.

It was during DAO, if you bring Oghren with you when you meet Cullen while he's trapped in the pink bubble. He calls Oghren a 'cave-dwelling heathen'.

Elves are also considered as heathens,since they're Dalish and thus don't follow the Andrastian religion.And that would make him only available to humans.

Dalish don't follow the Chantry, but many do still revere Andraste.

I wouldn't say many and those who do revere her as a historical figure for helping Shartan,not as a religious one,which still makes them heathens in the eyes of the chantry.
Their hostility towards the missionaries send by the chantry,was after all one of the many reasons the Chantry decided to start an exalted march against the Dales.

For the sake of accommodating role playing I would say that Solas would have to be bisexual.   The reason for this is that apparently you can only be Dalish if you play an elf.   Dalish are far more likely to be prejudiced against non elf romance.   The females have Sera, so if Solas were bi then your male Dalish would have the option of a relationship with him or have to go interspecies.    This was how I played it with one of my Wardens.   Wouldn't contemplate a human romance so went with Zevran.   Otherwise if Solas was not a romance or female only, then it limits roleplaying the Dalish elf.     After all it is the writers who have developed them as narrow minded and prejudiced, even against city elves, so it would be a bit harsh penalising a player for keeping true to the way they have been portrayed.

personally, after reading both their write ups, I feel Iron Bull is more likely to be romanceable while Blackwell seems like he is not. I would like to think they wouldnt do a 4/2/2 but it is definitely a possibility, if they did pretty sure the NPCs would both be straight so...

As David Gaider said, Cole won't be an option cause he's mentally a child. I think Blackwall won't be an option either, because on his profile was stated that he's only interested in being a Grey Warden. Besides that, he's quite old. He's like the Wynn in DAI. I think, Varric won't be an option either, because he might get an own love story with Bianca. And there was stated that he's not into humans. The problem is, due to restriction issues he won't be available to Qunaris either, and I don't think, they'll only create a romance with him for elves and dwarfs (besides that, I don't think he's into elves).  

 

Well, Cassandra, Cullen and Sera are officially confirmed. Scribble (whatever her name is) is as good as confirmed, since it was stated that we'll have "some" advisors as romance options. and due to the fact that Leliana isn't romanceable, only Scribble remains. But I'm not sure, if she's bisexual or straight. On Iron Bull's profile was hinted, that he likes sex with nearly everyone, so I think, he might be available for both genders. If Iron Bull is bisexual and Cullen straight, I don't think, they would make Solas gay, because it would mean, gay gamers won't get a human option at all. That's why I think, Dorian is gay.

 

so, my conclusion is:

 

Scribble straight

Cassandra bi

Sera lesbian

 

Cullen straight

IB bi

Dorian gay

 

If Cullen is straight, it would make sense to make Scribble straight too. But I'm not sure about that.

If we'll get 8 LI's, I think (and hope) it will be a 2/4/2 split.

 

I think we would get Solas and Vivienne as well.

 

If Vivienne and Solas are bisexual I think we would get tthe following options:

 

Scribble straight

Cassandra/Vivienne bi

Sera lesbian

 

Cullen straight

IB/Solas bi

Dorian gay

 

If Solas was straight, I think the advisors would be bisexual as well as Vivienne (because I can't imagine her being straight). Than, Cassandra would be the straight option. This results in:

Scribble/Vivienne bi

Sera lesbian

 

Solas straight

IB/Cullen bi

Dorian gay

 

as for race restrictions, I think IB is not available to dwarfs (and maybe elves). But that's it.

This is what I think, too, though I have Varric in place of Solas. I have a feeling Solas'll be like Mordin Solus: intellectually stimulating and sexy as all hell in every regard but ultimately untouchable. I'd love to be wrong, but with the hint of race restrictions among romances, the LIs wouldn't be even across the board if Solas and Varric were romanceable. We'd need another female to make things even again. It might work if Dagna's an option, but that just seems like wishful thinking on my part.
