Pretty much what it is, I always loved playing rogue like characters for their agility and skill. As for knives used out side of dual wielding...well I'd like to in combat throw a knife not just in 1 or 2 at most cinematics just for it to only look cool.

Maybe a skill that doesn't per say do a whole lot of damage, but has a good percentage to cancel or interrupt enemy skill. One of those ranges skills to help give you that extra moment to get closer or finish off the enemy in front of you while stopping the Mage/Archer from hurting you while your so focused.

Doesn't have to per say work like that but I'd like to have a knife throwing skill none the less. Thought?

I think it could work if they made small throwing knives a usable combat item like the bombs from the last two games. That way all classes could use them instead of just rogues. Warriors at least should be able to throw them too.

I'd like this! But I'd also like them to be magically enchanted to return, too, so you don't have to keep going around buying knives or retrieving them back from corpses.

They could just be like magical infinite arrows we already have in the game.

Knife boomerangs? Or Xena's sharkram (Definitely spelt that wrong). Or maybe more like ninja stars although you'd have to replenish them unlike the first two so maybe not. So yeah maybe magical throwing knives that never run out... now I'm seeing Tim Tams (Australian chocolate covered chocolate biscuits advertised with a magically refilling package every time you reached the last one) and getting hungry  :D

Omg Tim Tams haha. I've been overexposed to them in New Zealand. I guess they're what makes our part of the world go round?? :P

Yeah I was thinking like the Xena thing, which actually was exactly a kind of weapon they had in Kingdoms of Amalur. It was friggin' awesome. They were dual, and very useful for mages in particular. Eeeee.

Tim Tams   off to the fridge for one now  :P

Throwing knives sounds good , i thought the Rogue in DA2 was very weak :( so anything to make them stronger is a great idea .

Just have a string attached to them so you can pull them back.

I don't mind seeing something like in Assassin's creed, where knives are ammo. While you could kill lightly armoured targets with them, the heavily armoured ones were just slowed down until we could reach them and attack. So if something like that is in the game, with a skill to unlock it so that players have to spend a talent point in it, it would be good.

Having said that, I absolutely do not want to see anything resembling Tallis' knife throwing. That was just so over the top and stupid and I really disliked it. She basically had infinite knives that she could throw, I want to see nothing of that sort.

This would be a great option.

Only if we can do that roundhouse kicking thing with them too...

Tallis had something like this in MotA, and I really wanted it for my Hawke. She defaulted to throwing knives if the enemies were out of melee range, then she'd run over and attack.

YES!

Or just have default blades that never run out and powerful magical blades that you must purchase or craft.
