Wouldn't it be fun if Bioware made a "spectator only" battle mode that allowed us to just sit back and watch two factions kill each other off?

 

I would love to see Cerberus fighting the Reaper and/or Collector* forces.

 

I would also like to see the Geth doing battle against the REAL enemy; the Reaper (with certain Collector* units thrown in) forces.

 

What do you people think?

 

*There are some who would say that the Collectors all died with the Collector base, and I am inclined to agree; but certain units like the Abominations, Scions, and the Praetorians were all created using our people (humans, duh), were they not?

 

P.S. One reason I made this topic was because watching Cerberus fighting the Reapers was something we were deprived of (never got to actually see it) during the Story.

Alas, Domination (Sabotage but for Organics only) isn't available in multiplayer. Only Shepard wielding the Apple of Eden, I mean the Leviathan sphere, can utilize that power.

 

Plus without swords, there is no penetration...

And why watch when we could be in the middle of it. 2 factions fighting each other while fighting us would be epic.

A mission where there were multiple factions fighting with a shift in balance of power as the waves continue would be more interesting to me than spectator mode, and might offer interesting things to do like "kite the banshees to the primes" or what-not.

It would be fun to watch Phantoms magnet-sword Marauders, Captains, and basically every Geth. Would still rather get to play in it then watch, though.

I'd have to say that Geth/Collectors would come out on top. Geth b/c stunlock from everywhere and general Geth BS, Collectors b/c of high damage/high health of all their units. Swarms/plagues not included in that, they're just annoying.

i would LOVE to have some kind of editor where we could mess with the wave compositions and watch the factions go at it.

I don't think any mook enemy can dodge a crab's melee > sync kill combo. Bye bye phantoms, dragoons (assuming armored enemies can be synced)

 

Scion cluster grenades will destroy hiding enemies like nemeses, rocket troopers and other basic trooper enemies that take cover. It will also make quick work of pets like prime turrets and drones. And the shield regen delay of scion shots will come in handy vs. most enemies, banshees in particular.

 

Seeker swarms and seeker plagues will stop combat engineers and geth primes from casting drones and turrets.

 

Also, crab lazors are the only thing that has innate penetration to OHK guardians and exploit multi-hit bugs on atlases, ravagers and banshees

 

Oh, and not to forget possessed abombs blowing up on goons, phantoms, hunters and pyros.

 

Collectors FTW! Collectors....

Depends on the platform. If PS3 then Collectors win by default since every other faction will freeze.

Watching a sabotaged Prime gunning down a fellow Prime is enough of a spectacle for me. Why have them fight for me, when I can have them fight with me.

 

Edit: Sh*t.....I wanna see 2 phantoms duke it out. No swords, no palm blasters...awww yeah
