I found myself and several others discussing our experiences as gamers/people and being gay and more than once sidetracked a thread because of it. So yeah, free to discuss.

I am a ****** homoromantic asexual. Usually these days I just say lesbian because people have a hard time understanding what asexuality is and goodness knows these days I deal more with Homoromantic than Asexual.

So share stories, annoyances, and just pet peeves of being LGBT, even great things. It just seems there are plenty of us to talk so why not?

Apparently, using that word is a slur, I understand that goodness knows I have heard it used like a slur. I will just say gender non conforming then. I dress like a guy when I can, short hair cuts that sort of thing. I am about as traditionally feminine as Fenris, if that gives you an idea.

What is a homoromantic asexual? I understood an asexual to be someone too ugly and/or pathetic to find a mate?

Nope these are called "trolls".

I think an asexual is someone with no sexual attraction to either gender. So a homoromantic asexual would be someone in love with someone same sex but they don't have sex. Unless i'm remembering wrong.

You LGBT?

Afraid not, though I know a ton of people(both in and out of the internet) who are. It's the BioWare forums, after all. During college, I'd danced around the Bi-Curious phase, but ultimately the bedding part of the M/M life isn't something I could handle.

Funny LGBT stories... does this count?

Correct, well mostly. Attraction and sex arent as connected with asexuals. Many of us have sex without the attraction. No, uh, visual turn ons about the person. I get crushes on women, I fall in love with women, even have sex with women I am in a loving relationship with. Are they hot? No. Are they attractive? No. I have never looked at a person and been attracted sexually. Attracted romantically? Sometimes. But never want to have sex with them.

Some are repulsed aces(our shortened name for ourselves) and the very idea of relations make them revolted, some feel like sex is watching a boring Tv show your partner loves but you dont. There is a variety of reactions, but the definer is we just dont get attracted to people.

Yep, I am a lesbian. Haven't been out of the closet for that long, though, so I do not have any interesting stories to share :3

What the hell is a ****** homoerotic asexual? I know what the last words are but not the former censored one.

I'm a straight man but I would like to be a lesbian just for a day. No, I'm serious. It would be awesome.

Not judging you here, but why the frak would you want that? O.o I mean, you have the benefits of the lesbians - Loving girls, but why would you want any of the other schizzle? :/ There are a lot of places where being a lesbian is hard (In some cases even life-threatening, thinking of Africa and stuff here).

I believe the image of a lesbian is very much over-romanticised, even in this period of time still.

This is a weird thread.

I'll make it weirder!

People in college said I was asexual after I turned away a girl I didn't want (and there were a lot of reasons not to want that girl). Personally I think the concept is a load of bologna, and they knew I thought the concept was a load of bologna, but that didn't stop them.

They were like "we have no proof to say otherwise" and I said "Proof? Do I have to bone a hooker on stage to provide evidence? Even if I were, it'd be none of your damn business."

That damn girl. I didn't even touch her and she managed to cause me so much trouble.
