Did they forget to make a unique helm for the mage set? I'm replaying with a mage ATM and I just remembered this. Poor mage Hawkes... getting the short end of the unique armor stick.

I figured they used it because it blends well enough.. but yeah, I noticed that too.
I hate the blood smear on the arm more. Kind of pigeonholes my character.
For a mage heavy game, there just isn't much variety to mage armor.. at least at high lvl. The rest is just chantry robes. lol. Almost as bad as the blood smears.
I don't mind the mage armor. I have both the mage item packs so I mix it up a bit

The Champion Gloves and the Champion Boots
Mostly do this also.
I don't mind hoods as much, if they match the outfit but, i really don't like helmets of any kind. It's the main reason i don't play warrior every often. I feel like i do need a helmet if I'm wearing heavy armor of some kind, but I'd rather not so I don't play them. And yes, I'd also like a bit more variety to the mage outfits.

I often turn helmets off too, but I dig the Champion warrior helm. It's unique and completes the whole "hawk" look to the set.
Meh, out of all the Champion armors the mage version looks the best (though I hate that exposed arm) I'm just going to suffer in silence (and turn off helms) because my favorite class could have been rogue or warrior and i'd have to look at their armors all day.
