They said it takes place after the events of Asunder and TME, both these books having occoured in 9:40. We dont know how long the events of these books went for however, they could have been A year meaning it would be in 9:41 that Inqusition takes place.

Thats just your asumption, it isn't made clear how long the events are.
The warden gos through Witch Hunt over a year after the blight ends. The blight lasted over a year. Hawke arrived in Kirkwall at the beginning of the blight. Meaning him finishing his first year and meeting Varric was before the warden tracked Morrigan to the eluvian. It would be between the deep roads expedition and the qunari invasion.
Nah
TheKomandorShepard was right, in witch hunt on the map it says Vigils Keep was attacked 2 years ago, DAO is in 9:30 Dragon and the writers said it goes for a year, so Awakening takes place in 9:31 Dragon, So 2 years after that would be 9:33 dragon when Witch Hunt takes place. So 2 years after Hawke went to the deep roads and 1 year before Act 2 starts.

Rhys being summoned in Lambert's office happened the same day as he fighting with Cole, then four days later it was the assembly with Wynne. The spend a week or so in the trip to Adamant, then the same to go back. Upon arriving to Val Royeaux, they met with the Divine, then it was three weeks before the uprising at the White spire during the Conclave.
The only unclear aspect is between the time uprising and Andoral's reach, but it was still 9:40 Dragon at Andoral's reach, since in the epilogue, Lambert talks about attacking Andoral's reach and then sends a letter to the Divine dated the fourthiest year of the Dragon age.

I think you're misunderstanding what i'm saying, I think DAI starts around 9:41 but there's a few thing's that may push the starting date back a bit, and the devs haven't exactly given us the exact start date of DAI yet and are being vague.
Mark's tweet have been clear that DAI start just a bit after DA2 (i.e. the last cutscene). There is no vagueness here, only travel time and it doesn't take that much time to go from Kirkwall to where DAI start. it's closer than Gwaren was to Kirkwall.
