Its been quite a while now since the last dlc for this trilogy was released.

So I was wondering with other good games coming this year and even Mass Effect Next maybe next year will you keep doing

Trilogy Playthroughs or do you plan (or already have) to close Shepard & Co.'s Journey forever?

The Mass Effect Trilogy is my favourite game series so I actually plan to play it after every two years(just so that you forget some stuff and can experience it again). Even through the graphics and gameplay are not that good anymore(especially for ME1) I just love the characters, story etc. and definetly want to revisit these games again.

What do you think?

Sure I'll keep playing.

Replaying the trilogy is like retelling some grand epic tale. It is basically the same space opera that changes a little every time it is retold.

I'm replaying the whole trilogy right now, actually. Just to have my 4 playthroughs perfect and ready for next ME (doing the same with DA series). However, I can see myself replaying it after some break to remember the "old times" again... and again, and again :)

I still return to KOTOR and Jade Empire every few years, so definitely.

One more run. Then I'm done.

Several more profiles to make.

So this year I'm playing for sure.

Maybe next year, depending on how things go.

Likely not really past 2015, almost certainly not past 2016 (except for nostalgia).

In itself, it'll be present in my attention for this decade. Cannot say I'll want to play it beyond 2020 though - so many games by that point that I may get much more sucked into. For example, I may like KOTOR and even want to play it, but it's just too dated and simple by this point that my attention by now is more on Mass Effect trilogy.

I'll probably be mostly done after this or next year.

I've taken a break from ME for now while I replay the Dragon Age series in anticipation of DA:I. But I know I'll eventually return to Mass Effect. I can't not play it, that would be crazy. Mass Effect is my favorite RPG series ever.

Yes.

I'm currently doing a kill all female squadmate trilogy run. Started ME3 last night. Once done, I'll probably do a few more trilogy runs and a couple of DAO/DA2 playthroughs until DAI is released

Every time a new game comes out that I like I put the trilogy aside for awhile, but I always return to it... or at least to ME3. I'm psyching myself up for a renegade trilogy run after this current playthrough.

Do it. Renegade is the way to go.

Yep, it's time to be a badass. Gonna play shep as pro-human, but not not taking any crap off anybody no matter what species they are.

Renegade Control is the most like TIM for a good reason ^_^

If you like you can go beyond bada** and be downright evil like this

The way I'm envisioning the playthrough is that shep will be pro-cerberus, at least through ME2. I haven't decided yet if she'll see TIM as going completely off the rails in ME3 or not.

 That I don't know about. I think shep will support the human squadmates...or at least some of them. We'll see as I go along.

What "trilogy" is that? There were only two ME games.

Yes. Even though I've done multiple playthroughs already, I'm not sure I will ever get bored of the trilogy.

Nope. Haven't played the trilogy since finishing ME3.

Well that's not totally true, I did go back to play the Citadel DLC.

As soon as I'm done with my current DA run I figure I'll be back.

Yes I'm going to play ME trilogy but I'm going to wait a little longer so that I have forgotten some of the stuff. Next time I will try to play as renegade. Truly renegade this time. Last time I tried I wasn't that renegade. It's quite hard.

I haven't played any of them since the summer of 2012, but if all goes well with my Xbox 360's repairs, I'll be doing a trilogy playthrough in honor of its return. And also check to make sure my saves still work.

I still have 2/6 Shepard's (one for each class, encompassing most of the series choices) to run through all the way until the end of ME3. Unfortunately, they are at the slump that happens roughly around or shortly after Thessia.

I'll certainly keep playing. Of course, this may taper off considerably when Inquisition is released, since Dragon Age now gets more of my attention than Mass Effect.
