Anything dual-wield pretty much gets my full attention, so probably the rogue for the trap/lock-picking talents.
I have been a bit conflicted since DA2, however, since I was finally able to enjoy being a mage, unlike DA:O.

Dual-wield Assassin rogue. I'm not sure what Tempest is, so I'll reserve judgement on that until we get more info.
My second would be two-hander qunari warrior because Sten. ![]()
Rogue.
If possible dual wielding Warrior
Rogue is my fave class but I'm going towards Mage on my first playthrough since I'm playing a FemQunari ![]()
Maybe I will change my mind when I have the game and roll with a Rogue Qunari instead of Mage.
Mage naturally, only the very best.
I find mages useful as party members, but tedious to play as. Casting some flashy spells periodically is not satisfying enough to make up for all the weak pew-pew attacks with your staff in between it. It's a yawn fest.
Love to play as an assassin rogue, or a warrior that takes on crowds of enemies at a time. I prefer rogue by a nose.
Mage, Mage, and some more Mage.

Wait, wait, what are you talking about? What in between?
I...don't know? Warrior or mage probably. Although I haven't used a rogue yet, in any of the games, which is probably a travesty. Maybe I'll muster of up the enthusiasm to do it in Inquisition. Maybe i'll play all of them! But I doubt it.
In Origins, mages pretty much just stand there shooting magic balls of energy during the auto-attack sequences between the use of more powerful spells. Of course, this is pretty much the same in DA2, but the combat actually varies. I couldn't get past the prologue because of how boring it is to play it. It doesn't get interesting to me until acquiring the spellweaver blade and unlocking arcane warrior, but that takes far too long.Wait, wait, what are you talking about? What in between?
Mage for sure. I'm giving up playing my favorite race in my favorite file because of it. They're just so damn badass.

Playing a Rogue in DA2 is fun especially when you go towards being an Archer, I just got finished playing one and it is a wee bit challenging in certain places but it's fun nevertheless. Try it I think you would like it! ![]()
I will probably play a Mage first then Rogue.

I think DA2 was better about this by allowing the staff to also serve as a melee weapon when an enemy got too close.
Nah, that's not how I remember it. I casted spells non-stop until my mana was gone, and that usually meant that everything is dead, if not lyrium pots to the rescue. Staff is just a stat stick.
At the moment mage and warrior are tied for first playthrough.
Raijin, we all know you'll choose mage. You're probably the biggest mage lover on the BWF.
For me, I'll be playing all of them, but probably warrior first.
You're probably right. I'm very passionate when it comes to my favorite class.
Mage of course.
For a human warrion: Templar (I like having strong defences against magic)
For a Qunari warrion: Reaver
For a human mage: Rift mage (it sounds interesting as I think it could be similar to force mage)
Fir a Quanri mage: Rift Mage
For a human rogue: Assassin (Archer)
"THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!" *kills any and all named Foes of the Great Weapon Wielding Warrior Style*
Mage, obviously. Rogues and warriors are lesser beings unworthy of my superior mage-y attention.

On a more serious note, I am probably going to play a f!qunari 2H warrior because my primary-'canon' Warden is a rogue and my Hawke is a mage. I want one of every class.
Now if mages look awesome then I'll probably pick mage because it's my favorite class anyways, even after they took away my precious, precious Spirit Healer specialization </3
I'll do a warrior first, probably 2h, then a mage, then repeat
Warrior.
That's not really a sufficient answer though, is it? If it's possible to Dual Wield as a Warrior, and One-Handed Axes are in the Game, I'm going full Viking berserker on that as a Dual Wielding Axe Qunari Female Reaver.
Mage. Definitely wasn't my pick initially, but after I learned about the magic-fade-hand thing I started leaning toward mage because it seemed to fit better. Then we got the specializations, and Knight Enchanter and Rift Mage both sound super interesting. So yeah, mage. But I'm sure I'll play them all in time.
If you're referring to the pic above I'd prefer to be a rouge hands down. Closest thing to a ninja and I just love me some ninjas.
