DHMG because he has a great mustache

Sera because blond is my favourite colour

Assuming I enjoy it more than DA2, I'll probably play through at least 3 times to play each class, and possibly 4 for each race if there are significant differences. For my first "main" play-through though:

 

Human Male, DW (if possible) or Two-handed Warrior Inquisitor

Cass

Sera/Varric

Whichever mage I initially find most agreeable.

Since everyone knows that beauty > brawn and brains, my main party will be the pretty people of course.

I really don't know what my first class will be for the normal playthrough, but I think Cassandra and Varric will be the main companions. I don't really know about the personalities of the other guys. I guess I'll take the one that responds better to humor. I think that Bull, the Warden guy and Vivienne will be uptight, hopefully the elves are going to be fun.

 

Here's hoping to be able to tease Cassandra.

Depends on the quest. For instance if I'm talking to the dalish I'd prefer to take an all elven (or if not possible, at least all non-human) party.

3 mage party, my inquisitor, Solas, Vivienne. Plus Varric. Although this means no tank.

1st run, I want to play a dwarf who is likely uninvested in many of the tension issues. I want a character who can make decisions with a clear head and no side. Some one mostly unbiased. So she will probably, for each issue, that involves a companion directly take them along especially if they are on opposite sides.

That in mind my main group would be from first outlook
My female Dwarf Rogue
Vivienne- As an Orlesian, and a first Enchanter she would be counseled regularly on proper behavior and magic in general.
Cassandra- So far she seems very second in command, and I like that about her, and give her that area. Also I think she will be devil's advocate about everything!
And perhaps Varric for a bit of a fellow dwarf.

My Second Playthrough will be a female Mage Elf who has strong feelings about everything even those that dont concern her, directly.

Solas-Fellow Elf Mage
Sera- the character's reasoning will vary, but mostly because she wasnt a main last time and unless I really dont like her I want her to become a main.
Grey Warden- A grey Warden has a great deal of obligations, and I think this is something she might find solace in.

Because if I can stomach an evil playthrough, I try to use all the morally grey characters. A mercenary, a fade spirit that murders, and a Magister(maybe) seem right up that alley.

Kind of premature to say who is going to be in my party without knowing a good amount of the characters or their usefulness in combat.

I'm sure all will end up getting used fairly regularly. Although I'm having a difficult time picturing Cassandra not being a staple of my party.

Its tough to say at this stage, without more information half of our companions are just a few screenshots and (if we're lucky) a paragraph marketing blurb. Having said that I'll contribute:

 

Mage Quizzy

Iron Bull (Cause you know he's gonna be awesome, I loved Sten and I don't doubt I love IB just as much)

Sera (Cause from the one concept we have of her she seems fun, and will probably be my first playthroughs romance (I don't like Cassandra)

Grey Warden or Solas or DHMG (Depends on who ends up being more interesting after we get some real info)
