While it does look like The Last Supper kind of, I always get more of a "King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table" vibe from it.

I got the same feeling. And I hope no party members betray the Inquisitor, to me that is an over done plot. There will no doubt be enough NPCs doing it, why make a party member do it?

'tis not a round table though

It's not a supper either, but you don't see that stopping people from jumping to conclusions...

It seems like it could be either Solas, Cole, or... Varric. Cole would be really obvious. Varric would be very not.

There won't be another Anders. Everyone will happily prance off into the sunset.

The traitor is the Inquisitor himself. At the game's climax, he stabs himself in the back, then gloats evilly about how easy it was to gain his own trust.

This made me laugh so much. I just pictured him going over the top evil with all his companions and many more watching.

I don't think one of the characters will turn traitor no matter what. It will probably be more like Zevran turning on you if your approval isn't high enough, or Isabela running off. Or like how half the party can turn on you in DA2 if your approval isn't high enough when you pick mages/templars at the end. It will be based on choices and relationship with the companion.

Varric is the one posed like Judas. For comparison, Judas is the dark-haired apostle on the left turned facing towards Jesus wearing a green robe and orange tunic.

Just to throw this out there but NONE of them are posed like any of them in the last supper. They're also all standing up, and obviously planning there start of the inquisition (this is probably a few hours into the game). BioWare isn't about to just copy the entire story of all that crap, and I doubt this was an attempt to mimic it.

This is basically akin to getting the Normandy as your ship for the first time in ME1 after you get off the citadel for the first time and you give your speech to your crew. Except its not a space ship its a table and all the 'important people' staring at a map.

Straws, straws everywhere and yall are graspin' at em like its your job.

Obviously the Last Supper could be an inspiration. However sometimes a banana is just a banana. It might look like a plantain, but those sure make crappy pudding.

Probably Solas. I mean come on he's a specialist on the Fade...who knows what he's been up to?

Do ya'll think its possible to put a bunch of people at a table and not have parallels drawn to the Last Supper? I have reservations. I mean I love Da Vinci as much as the next guy but he seriously monopolized that motif.

I don't think there will be a Judas among our troops.

I think it's Solas as well. I mean, look at the names. Solas. Judas. Same amount of letters, same amount of syllables, same endings, it even rhymes! The parallels are obvious. It can't be a coincidence, don't you be oblivious to it.

Its obviously gonna be Leliana. Look at how suspiciously she has her hands behind her back! I bet she is hiding a dagger.

The big twist is that they're ALL traitors.

Inquisitor: All right, in the wake of the discovery that Morrigan was actually Flemeth in disguise, I have to ask: who else in this room is working for someone else?

Vivienne: My loyalty has always been to Empress Celene, darling.

Sera: And I'm working for Gaspard de Chalons. Hey, he pays well.

Cassandra: I regret to inform you that I am secretly an agent of the Red Templars.

Cullen: And I was planning to capture you for the regular Templars.

Solas: I'm possessed by Imshael, but I'm technically working for myself.

Dorian: I'm with the Venatori, old boy. "He shall reign" and all that.

Iron Bull: Since we're airing out our dirty laundry, I never left the Qun.

Varric: Hawke sent me to keep an eye on you and take you out if you turned evil, Quizzy.

Leliana: I confess that I am also Flemeth. Bodies are such limiting things.

Cole: I'm not working for anyone, but I was thinking about killing you anyway. Would you look into my eyes for a moment?

Feathers: My allegiance is to the Wardens, young one. Also, Corypheus.

Inquisitor: Right, I've heard enough. Is there ANYONE in this organization loyal to me?

(A loud whinny echoes through Skyhold)

Inquisitor: Thank you, Bog Unicorn.

I cant stop laughing.

Wait no I got it. This a Bioware game so we have the option to either be Jesus or become the anti-christ?

If there is an inevitable betrayal, it'd be cool if it changed depending on your playthrough and how your Inquisitor got along with your companions.
