That's what I grew up on.. and it was fine for me at the time.. then I got a NES, then SNES and pretty much stopped playing PC games.

Centipede was a great game.

Yes, they are still banning cheaters that ruin the fun for others. Missile Glitchers come to mind, right away. They often appear in public matches, which leads to frustration and legit players are forced to leave, losing their consumables along the way. That's just a crap attitude; if you're going to do the missile glitch, do it privately with friends who are cool with you doing it. Same goes for credit hacks. We all know the stories where Bronze/Silver matches pay out millions of credits. Same thing here, this damages the playing experience of legit players that are not looking for this crap.

Therefore, Bioware does still hand out bans to people that ruin the fun for others, which I think is a good thing. Now, personally, I am a big fan of "Custom Waves Mods" - such as the well known Husk mode - because they create a whole new experience. Again, those mods should only be done with friends and not opened up to the public. Players that are not looking for a match with hundreds of Husks, will be quite pissed off when they do land in such a match.

As for the Chakram Launcher, it's actually a lot of work to unlock the thing and often it does not even work. I've tried to add it to the store, with zero success. Also, from what I heared, it's not that special and powerful. So, it's nothing more than another rare assault rifle in the end.

I m glad there´s no Chakram launcher. In my head, it just sounds as a choucroute launcher. Way too OP.

@21T09

Well, I heard the Chakram Launcher was anything but OP on most characters. Only the GI seems to make it a decent gun, really.

Well, that ´s because it fires chakram, and not choucroute! :)

@Mega: you should have tried quake before descending to casual uberrace. You wouldn't have told chit about WSAD than. And there is no thing better than mouse in shooting games.

I have hacked my coalesced for 105 FOV, I also have eliminated FPS cap, and my crusader finally rewards aiming. It's still cheating I believe.

I also want to get rid of incendiary glitch. Would be so nice to host several platinum games and look at reeger flamers/offensive juggernouts who not only drop like a flies (I love hosting at 120 FPS), but also whine about "not damaging reeger".

I played Quake 3.. the one with all the jump pads. I didn't like it as much as I did Unreal Tournament.. I put serious time into that one.

Wow, didn't know that part of your anamnesis.

Yeah, I loved UT big time (and UT 2004 as well). But I was a quake fanboy since the first. Have put a lot of time in the third, put a lot of time in dfrag.

Sadly, nowadays servers of those games are either dead or filled with Anno-like monsters.

Nothing personal man  ;)

I am just a big fan of a weapon platforms and I kinda laugh when people consider him a powerfull weapon platform.

Ofc he can be played well (which kit doesn't?), but no way he is a weapon specialist.

And my offense was directed towards incendiary PPR+reeger combo, insane DOT those two allow to stack makes everything look like a good weapon specialist.
