Is Bioware gonna release a official guide for Dragon Age Inquisition ? Like the PiggyBack one for Dragon Age 2 ?

I hope to god they will otherwise I'm screwed. I like to plan out my playthroughs.
I'm sure there will be in-game tutorial lol.
A guide will happen because there is money to be made
Blind playthrough ftw.
That's how I did in all Bioware games and not once I regret doing it.
Agreed. It's more fun this way.
There were a few errors in the last guide, as such I'll stick with playing normally.
If need be then on later play through's I'll just refer to the Dragon Age wiki or something of a similar vein.
I want one just to complete my collection, and for the art. (Although we're getting an art book, so that's less of a priority this time.) I do use the previous two to look up stuff like resource locations without minimising the game and opening a browser.

AMEN
Personally, I play blind the first time, but after that it's spoilers and walkthroughs all the way, including the previous official guides.

Dear Maker, yes. The DA2 guide was terribly written, poorly formatted (the entire romance section makes it look so much more complicated than it should be), and full of errors. Not to mention that it contains almost no images of Lady Hawke, and the pictures of Isabella are oddly whitewashed.
I want an Inquisition guide for the art as well, but please make this one better.
I never got people using guides.
Takes the '' OH SHi- '' we all love so much out of the equation.

I never loved it, so I use guides. I am fundamentally against surprises happening to my own person. They do not end well. If you like it, don't use a guide.
I'm using guides because i really dislike losing a companion : in DA2, I've lost Isabela the first time 'cause i didn't know how to keep her and that's really pissed me off.
I hope that there's a guide for it one because I love just having it for if I'm really stumped and it's also the only way I can get my mother to play games with me is if she has a guide to work with. So here's to hoping there's a good guide coming out along with the game ![]()
Not just blind playthrough, Blind Nightmare playthrough. Three cheers for coming in dry!
The Artbook will be my only supplemental reading.
I use guides for games like Skyrim or Dark Souls 2 and then I'm generally just looking for ways to improve the characters power (or survivability in the case of Dark Souls 2). These type of games don't really have all that compelling a storyline (DS 1&2 do have some great atmosphere/world building) or characters so I don't mind running into a few spoilers while ensuring my Dark Souls 2 Wizard has enough power to drop say 'The Pursuer' the first time they meet.
I also tend to use guides in JRPG's because their storyline is on rails more often than not, and I' like to ensure I haven't missed any of the fun side stuff. Though in the case of Persona 4 golden I only used the guide to boost the characters stats and avoided all the plot/romance information since I actually could change what occurs.
I can understand not wanting to be surprised, but more often than not the surprises I run into in Bioware games are pleasant ones. The day I discovered that bringing Fenris along to talk to the Arishok was a good idea is fondly remembered.
They've released guides for every other game, so why not now?
It's fine to use guides for Dark Souls.
That game is designed for you to get as many advantages as possible.
I had purchased their guides for all the other games. They were very helpful. I'm sure they will do the same here.
I can't imagine they'd pass up the opportunity to make a pile of cash be selling a guide. Like others here, I use them on my second and subsequent play throughs, to pick up bits I might have missed or see what happens when I zig where last time I zagged.
ETA: of course, given that we have the internet for that, I'll only shell out my money if it's a quality product. My preference is that it has more representation of female Inquisitors (there were 5 of FemHawke in the last one, out of all the huindreds of images of Hawke) and I rather hope that she's not shown in her underwear 20% of the time (to be fair, that's only one photo, but still ... ), like Hawke was in the last one.
These days, the guides seem like the only way to get detailed mechanical information.
I just wish there was some way to guarantee you could avoid spoilers while reading about the mechanics.
i usually get the hard back guides that include the extra art work... have them for mutliple games, just a collector at this point
