I'm Bob. From Accounting.
Back to the relevant issue. Despite L'Etoile apparently being the current darling writer of this section of the forum, the idea is terrible. God awful.
First, there's the seeming 100% convergence between your own views and the ones David7204 professed (i.e. "Games shouldn't be difficult," "People should stop complaining about Liara's importance," "There's nothing wrong with picking the top of the wheel every time," etc.). Second, there's the remarkable similarity in terms of the methods that both you and David use to express those views: For instance, there's the old standby of diagnosing the "real reasons" why people disagree with you (which invariably have to do with them being stupid and bad), and second, there are the words and phrases you both use (i.e. "silly," "childish," "delusional," "ridiculous," etc.). On top of all that, "Bob From Accounting" is taken from TVTropes, which was known as a favorite David7204 hangout. Given all of this, it's statistically very unlikely that you aren't the same person as David7204.
Returning to the topic, I think it's difficult to evaluate L'Etoile's idea fairly without having the context of knowing what events would have gotten the Geth and the Quarians to this point. I'm not much of a stickler for scientific accuracy in ME, and given my own dissatisfaction with the existing Rannoch arc, maybe I'm just projecting my wish fulfillments onto Chris' ideas, but still, I would have liked to hear the full story that he would have planned out.
