I'm currently editing a few items in the toolset and I've noticed Kaedrin's prefab uti has custom class restrictions. I've been trying to figure out how to do this, and I'm stumped. gff and tlk editors just have bunch of numbers in the item property structure. Anyone have any ideas?
Adding custom class restrictions for items?

The gff way:
- find the itemproperty #63 ( class limitation, defined in either itempropdef.2da or itemprops.2da i forget they're pretty much the same row numbers eitherway )
- give that a subvalue that's found as a row# in your custom Classes.2da
The toolset way:
- choose Item Properties|Use Limitation: Class
- select the class you want from the expanded index (assuming you've got your custom Classes.2da and a relevant .Tlk in place so "Bad Strref" doesn't happen, up and down the list )

It's pity they're not like the race restrictions. If you create a new race, the use restriction item properties automatically adapt. They must be reading from the race 2DAs on the fly.
