Plot twist: the inquisitor is actually the one who ripped the veil and got amnesia from the blast which created the breach.
If that twist ends up being true, I'll have the Inquisitor go out like Javert.

I am so tired of misunderstood villains who are only trying to make a world a better place by horrible means just like the reapers trying to end all chaos by killing everybody and it is being over use so much lately
In DAo Everybody agrees the archdemon is evil but since and even before then almost ever single antagonist is trying to do the right thing and goes turn crazy and goes over totally board
1 loghain thinks he doing right thing by leaving the king to die2 architect think he is going to stop the blight
3 Meredith trying to protect the city getts turn crazy by red lyruim
4 The Illusive man thinks he doing the right thing
5 heck even anders thinks he doing the right and does something most people call evil
I think it's pretty rare that someone gets up in the morning and says, "I am going to be an evil SOB and bring nothing but pain, misery, and suffering to the world." Usually the "bad guy" believes that he is doing the right thing ... hence why you see this trope used so often.
Who wants a one-dimensional villain?
Well, maybe Vizzini is an exception:

Generally speaking I think the villain who thinks he or she is accomplishing some greater good by their evil actions is far more interesting than the sort who does evil just for its own sake.

He's gonna jump of a bridge, while the Inquisition sings "Do you hear the people" sing?

What if he/she wants to combine the World and Fade together to reach the Black City and reshape the new World in their own image

Perhaps they're using the Red Templars/Red Lyrium to this end.

It's gotta be Corypheus. What else is Bioware going to do with him? At the end of the Legacy DLC they let him walk ... he's not going to just head back to Tevinter and live out the rest of his days in retirement.
With one notable exception, this is the first time in recorded history that the Fade has been breached, and it took place after Corypheus was freed. When was the other occasion? Oh yeah, when Corypheus entered the Fade and "tainted" the Golden City.
The Venatori serve the Tevinter Magisters, and Corpyheus certainly qualifies as that. In fact, he's original flavour.
Sandal's prophecy works well this this theory, too:
One day the magic will come back - all of it. Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part and the skies will open wide. When he rises, everyone will see
Corypheus' tenure as a Magister predated the rise of Andraste and the Chantry by 102 years (see The World of Thedas book), so he lived in a world where magic was neither taboo nor regulated.
Bioware tends to set up conflicts with expansions and DLC as well. The Awakening add on paved the way for the mage-templar conflict and Anders merging with Justice ... makes sense that the Legacy DLC would pave the way for DA: Inquisition.

The main villain turns out to be the inquisitor themself. It turns out that you are actually a fade spirit who went into the body of a random person in the fade burst, and that persons soul got stuck in the fade and has been trying to break out since by making rips.

After reading until we sleep....yeah I do think the villain may very well be associated with the Venatori or atleast want god like powers to shape the world to his/her/their liking.
Perhaps they're using the Red Templars/Red Lyrium to this end.

@Swagger
What do you want then? A mustache twirling nonsense '' Look at me I am evil, and I do bad things '' antagonist?
I just want a villain that could put he main antagonist of Jade Empire to shame Bioware did once they can do it again.
And beside sometimes you need a little mustache twirling Emperor Palpatine is basically cos evil and is a bloody great Villain in my opinion one of the best put to screen

I still think that'd be too obvious. Corypheus would probably find resistance to taking power in Tevinter, especially with the politically minded magisters who are currently in power.
I doubt he's a shining example of good and hope, but he certainly doesn't seem like person who would spread the same things that traumatized him.
He's a wild card at the moment with his own agenda, at worst.

I don't know where people are getting that Corypheus can be some mega ultra bad guy he didn't know what day it was and as antagonists go is about interesting as an american football match he also wasn't much of a threat, Hell the architech felt more threatining simply cos I had this feeling he wasn't being straight with me . Surely we believe Bioware can make an insidious enemy not just some sauron/ Borg queen /cobra commander knock off (not that i'm opposed to that)
But In all seriousness good bad guys are rare either in computer games books or film there is nothing better than the enemy you can't attack or see personally I hope we spend most the game fighting a shadow war with highly intelligent and powerful big bad pitting our agents against it;s own agents real Spy Vs Spy stuff(cold war not the mad comic) and when this big bad sticks its head out for what ever reason it has to instill so much fear and dread in us that we will have to respect it in order to defeat it

those dudes on the wiki looks like the Adeptus Custodes, hence the main villain of this game is "THE IMMORTAL EMPEROR OF MANKIND BELOVED BY ALL!"
Hence to ultimate ending will be to burn our own character for heresy.
For the EMPRAH

I suspect that if the Venturi are anything; its the "replacement villain" or the villain comes out of nowhere to overtake the original villain/empire/whatever and be really powerful.
As of the demo's I think they are just some cult that's looking for a mysterious object in ancient ruins throughout the desert.
They probably manage to get their hand on something and become a serious threat.
Or ironically enough they are seeking to do good, find some way to close the veil only for you to stop them, not that they are good just that getting eaten by demons isn't usually an enjoyable experience regardless of where you are on the morality line.
