Morrigan's was a planned pregnancy. She'd read the baby books.

Nope. Adoption or nothing, so it's the players choice. I don't want any surprise kids running around, or my Quizzy or LI benched for however long.

Plottwist: The baby is the key to closing the breach. Cassandra will be the one who does the Dark Rituel this time.

Doctor Spock's Prenatal Blood Magic & Child Care is a rare book in Thedas.

Cullen for lesbian romance!
But on topic, no, and I don't think the writers would ever seriously consider it either.

It's okay as long as I can kill off all the babies I've made.

Not sure how I would feel about my LI asking me to adopt a child with them during the middle of the Inquisition.
But having said that, I'd totally be fine with a makeshift wedding during the middle of the chaos.

Always romance characters of the same gender and that problem shouldn't occur.

Um I think "surprise pregnancy" could be fun but not with a companion, and maybe only if you play a cassanova-like character.
Otherwise any preggie should be planned like Morrigans.
I'd be impressed with Bioware if they actually explored becoming a parent in their game, though I doubt they'll go that way any time soon. But like anything else that isn't frequent within RPG's it should be optional and well warned. It shouldn't be a punishment.

Steward of Skyhold: "You have visitor's you're eminence."
Inquisitor: "Ah! Have the Wardens arrived? Its about time we negotiated an alliance!"
Steward of Skyhold: "Eh, no, my lord. Its 5 noble woman who are pregnant and claim you are the father."
Inquisitor: "Wat."
Cassandra: "*facepalm* One thing! You can't even do one thing without making a mess!"

Hey as long as there's an abundant amount of tansy or the fantasy equivalent, a surprise pregnancy wouldn't be too much of an issue.

I thought having a baby if you banged the noble hunter chick in the dwarf noble origin was quite an interesting twist. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that again.
