Lets talk about our beloved Forbidden One - who will hopefully for once become relevant instead of just another side quest boss ![]()
I personally hope he will become a major player in the story. Maybe even one of the main villains?

While Forbidden Knowledge quest was optional, this quest is granted by completing Enemies Among Us which is not. The Evil Tomes were hidden by Tarohne, which means that the plan to have possessed Templars was probably suggested by Xebenkeck.
And now we have another Forbidden Ones who helped reactive the Eluvian network so someone unknown could have the password while another person would be known as the owner (that was the plan, the Slow Arrow didn't go with it). It might have an impact in DAI.
Only Gaxkang seems to have been random, but his speech was rather interesting and he was sending adventurers to their death.
Also, Gaxkang death note in the quest just says he was returned to the Fade, he can show up again (as does Xebenkeck, you never destroy demons/spirits, they are simply resent to the Fade weakened).
I see! Maybe we will come across them again as well.
Hopefully this time each with their own unique design.
My advice to you guys. Don't skip the Highlands in DAI.

I don't think anyone who has read the book will ![]()
I read that as: They are simply sent to the fade for the weekend. *giggles* XDsnip

Lol, just wanted to make sure no one skipped it.

I'm not sure that I really care about him yet. In the book he behaved like any generic demon so I hope he will have a unique design to make him stand out more.

Well, he appeared as a human in the book. Its obviously a disquise but it could be used to fool anyone to think its not a demon.
But I do agree. The Forbidden Ones need their own design.

Can never be too certain. Gotta make sure people really do visit the highlands

Why do they need their own design? I got the impression that they want to appear like normal people so as to go around unnoticed.

Its their disquise, yes. But I meant as in their true form.

Since there's basically a demon invasion why disquise themselves now

It'd be cool to see the gang back together as villains.

I'm not sure if calling is it a demon invasion is accurate. Yes, demons are crossing over in great numbers, but I doubt they are organized. They are just chaos.
For example, Gaxkang spent years sending stupid adventurers to their death for fun in DAO. There was no plan there, just trolling.

I get what your saying, but we was most talking their demon forum being a unique design when they reveal themselves

You don't know that though. The big bad could very well be controlling the demonic hordes crossing the Veil.

I think it would be cool if the demons were organized, at least in the broadest sense of the word.

Totally, it would be preferable if they at least hade something that held them together to a certain extent

I can see it now:
Main Demon: "Okay, guys. Some lovely group on the other side has opened the door for us to have fun in Thedas. Let's not blow this. The rules are simple: don't attack those who helped us, unless they are really asking for it, and don't attack each other. Sound good? Okay. And break!"

Sidekick Demon: "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaait! I haven't gone to the bathroom yet!"
But yeah, a group does sound awesome. Maybe we can befriend them and play Wicked Grace with them! ![]()
