So I was watching the game play trailer for what felt like the 100th time when I noticed something odd. The inquisitor is found leaving the fade and Cassandra is quick to point out how he was the only one to escape a blast that killed thousands.
So this got me thinking "Well maybe he originated in the fade, but that can't be right because we know only demons and spirits exist in the fade how could a mortal be there." This is when I remembered Morrigan and her portal that by my recollection leads to the fade.
So running with this idea would explain the strange magic he shows when closing the tears (all green and similar to that of the Arche Demon) and the fact he survived something not even the land could. I then began to think of Morrigans closing statements at the E3 trailer quite different from who she used to be but more like her own mother in the way she regards you... This theory also helps explain why she would ask if you would "Leave this world to it's bitter end" as if you are not of it perhaps because you were born in the fade.
So in conclusion I think we play as the reincarnated baby Arche Demon of the person we played as in the first Dragon Age origins, the only thing I can't explain is how the inquisitor was already in inquisitor armor that's really got me confused.
Thanks!
