1) any news about romance?

2) Anything about moding and moding tools?  Moding in dragon age 1 was amazing, that gives it longevity.

3) make it very expandable!  But dont be lazy, dragon age 1 expansion was a bit lazy, many features was missing and it was a bit dry compared with dragon age standard version.

4) I hope the game has an amazing character creator, I love to create the character I want to...

5) is my GTX 780 enough for it?  Or I will need an sli to run it. It looks a bit heavy, or I hope the engine is light.

6) I ve seen some interviews, it says the map is enormous huge, bigger than DA 1?  if yes, do we have housing and stuff? RP elements? Or it is just action.

7) is it going to be the last Dragon Age?

The above are suggestions and questions at the same time, because the game may have it.

2) I thought Awakening was great, which expansion are you referring to?

6) Much bigger than DA1, look up interviews this has been answered. We will have customization over how our Keep or Fortress looks even changing the throne if we want to. DA:I is not just about "action" in the least bit, that isnt their priority.

7) No it wont be the last

  1. Here's a quote from a dev

I can speak to it generally... the romances are more complex both in type of romances going forward and how you go through that romance. The different types of sexual orientation of the different kinds of characters around you is also more complex than in previous games. I think there's going to be a lot more realistic... realistic... you know what I mean -- anyway, more engaging and more involved than in previous games. That's definitely the goal, and we are definitely going to go out there with some characters just being one sexual orientation. And that previously wasn't the case. The real world reflects that so we're going to make a game that reflects that as well. But the details of how the mechanics and how those relationships work Mike Laidlaw or David Gaider would know more.

  2. So far it looks unlikely. Frostbite is hard to mod so I doubt we'll be able to do that :(
  3. I cant really comment about that.
  4. Same as above, we haven't really been given much info on CC.
  5. All we've been told so far is that you need "windows 7 or higher". Not much to go on I'm afraid.
  6. We have keeps we can customize which apparently act a bit like the camp system in DAO. And yes, apparently the maps a going to be absolutely massive.
  7. Unlikely. A while back a dev talked about a "5 game plan". This has since been proven to be false but it still seems likely that there will be more games. http://www.examiner....ls-and-spoilers

Hope this helps :)

It was dry, we had da1 (standard edition), with so many chats and choices and things to do. But awakening was all about action. No romance, to talking, just kill...

As for the moding, I hope they give us the folder thing, to add things inside the folder and load them into the game!!! Manual method, but it will take ALLOT of time to (moders) animators and modelers to create something.

There was plenty of dialogue, choices, and action. You have to remember its an expansion, not a full game, a romance thats just shoehorned in for the sake of having one isnt worth it.

1) There will be romance options. Not sure what you want to know concerning romances.

2) There is no modding support because Bioware is using a new engine from a third party, namely Frostbite 3 from Dice.

3) Game development costs a lot of money. It is hardly ever about devs being lazy.

5) You own one of the latest and best gfx cars available, if you can't play the game wit that almost no gamer can. The game is also supposed to be playable in current gen consoles which are about medium specced PCs, so your gfx cards is more than edaquate. DAI looks good but not as advanced as the Witcher 3 and even that game will be playable on current consoles, the PS4 and Xbox One.

6) Yes, the map is bigger than that of DAO. Housing? You will be able to own keeps but no actual house. This is no Elder Scrolls game. Bioware games tend to be more about the story instead of being a sandbox.

7) No, this is not the last DA.

Ok... not sure if this is the place to put this, but if is now just let me know so I can move it.
Didn't know if you guys were bothered by this, but the combat animations in the gameplay videos looks too repetitive. In the gameplay footage that they have shown the atack animations of the inquisitor was pretty mutch a 3-4 atack combo and than repeat all over. Did not saw the other characters very well but I hope it is not the same way, so here is a suggestion: make a wider spectre os combat animations or at least a bigger combo so the combat look better and more fluid and not the really mecanic thing that it looks like now.

P.S.: Sorry about any gramatical errors.

That quote is great. Very encouraging, I hadn't seen that.

lets just hope dragon age Inq, at least will support some kind of modding, via 3d programs. Not all games have modding tools, but many support modding. It only takes allot of effort and time to make them, by more advanced users, that use 3d programming and modeling/animations.

And its not only dragon age INQ that scares me NOT TO have any modding, many games are in the pot, such us an open world starwars (dragon age style), Mass effect 4, etc.  Modding is the feature of this games :)   Agree, not? Pc market increasing rapidly, the 2013-14 reports prove that, so pc demands increasing also!

And lets add some others into the list... The witcher 3 making a huuuge effort for the modders to bring them that into the game and the upcoming by CDPR  cyberpunk 2077.  Also the ones by bethesda, such fallout 4, etc...  Is going to be an exciting 2014-2015 years for us who love these games

  :)

I think they mentioned in a few posts that modding may not be possible with this new engine but that doesn't mean people won't try.
