You're also comparing a 2D sidescrolling platform game to the "Ehr my gewd, look at those realistic fish graphics". Last I checked, kids didn't call for the their big brother to help with them with a difficult level in CoD either, something that happened a lot in Mario.

 

The difference between Mario and CoD is also the amount of quality and love one gets, while the other is a bloody rehash thrown out every year. But hey, if you like tossing your money away at the same product where the only difference is that it has one number higher than the other, more power to you.

 

 

Edit: One last thing since it's clear to me that you're a troll, Mario is not on rails.

 

 

Quality is subjective, I personally felt that the previous Mario titles is just as stale and repetitive as COD.

Super Mario Galaxy alone oozes more quality and polish than the entire CoD franchise, not to mention the fact that Nintendo is one of the very few companies that has consistently delivered almost perfect gameplay mechanics and overall game design throughout the years (from 2D platformers to arcade driving games through everything in between).

Only reason it looks appealing to me is Kevin Spacey, but I am sure it will be one more overly priced piece of junk like the most of them. If only someone could provide one an interesting FPS, even Dice failed with BF4. Only one providing any entertainment is TF2.

Well, if you're looking for an interesting FPS, there's always Bioshock. I don't know if you've played it, but I found it fairly engaging.

Been checking out the playthroughs.

If I were to buy any CoD since Modern Warfare 1, it'd be this. Black Ops 2 as a runner-up. It almost feels like Infinity Ward's take on Deus Ex, trying to capture new tech in a realistic manner. In a similar way Black Ops 2 was bridging areas between present technology and future tech, Advanced Warfare goes right into future. Looks incredibly slick, it's got freaking Kevin Spacey, and the gameplay goes beyond Cover and Shoot. I love the futuristic grenades, adds more tactical variety. Pseudo-HUD on the guns is pretty slick.

It's a popcorn game, but an incredibly well-done popcorn game.

For the first time since BLOPS 1 I will buy a CoD game week one and not "acquire" it my other means...... Probably going to get it on XB1, as I here the servers and player base is complete trash on PC.

Yes, it does. Campaing is awesome.

 

There wasnt single second i was bored in the single player campaing and it took 9 hours to beat.
