I'll bite. Claymore GI can 1-hit a possessed Scion on Platinum.
I'm guessing to pull this off, you'd need to be facing it's left side at head level, to shoot thru the shoulder hump into the head .. potentially on a biotically primed Scion with warp IV ammo (assuming the HVB will allow enough penetration to contact the head w most pellets)

My favorite Claymore class is the Batarian Soldier. Ballistic Blades is great for hiding reloads.
Correct on the location but it can be done with just AP IV and proxy mine on your own.

Try this build. It's how I roll. You could always replace 'Nades with CS because it's a good OH SHI- button when an enemy gets too close and how Frags merely tickle enemies on any difficulty higher than Silver (or maybe even Bronze, which is why I rarely use them.) The recharge speed for both CS and A-rush is so fast that even if you have your Claymore at I (sadly, that me -__-), it won't really matter.

You don't need Shock Trooper because you will be using them for defense, like knocking Marauders back (not for spawn bombing or boss killing; it takes 3 grenades just to kill a group of Cannibals on Silver!!! Use Lift/Clusterf**k 'nades for that.) Since mods that add on weapon weight are broken, always use HVB unless you've equipped AP ammo. The gear is your choice, I use Responder Loadout because I'm paranoid I'll run out of Gel, but I only use 3 or 4 at most on Gold.

I prefer the +frags -CS build on HS when I run Claymore. Mainly because I am going to be running AP or Drill ammo so I don't need an on demand detonator.

Maybe Frags suck vs Marauders if you don't take the bleed evo.. the only thing that sucks about Frags is that they don't go through walls.. and they're graphically unimpressive.
I don't think Mad understands that you take the melee evo so AR ends sooner and you get more free reloads.
