I like the claymore on my Havoc, any krogan, Demolisher, TSent and a lot of other characters too lazy to name the rest right now.

I've learnt a lot recently.
1. Smart choke is a waste on wraith unless you can't aim.
2. Lancer has dps similar to that of Typhoon.
3. Geth engineer is better off without HM
4. Talon pistol is bad at killing the phantoms (cuz you can CC them with scorpion and stuff).
5. Typhoon is bad and overrated.
And finally, frags do not deal damage above silver...

Yeah.
I think the champion is "Raider TSol is a waste of kit, it's ok with 3-shot bug, but barely meh without"....

Great weapon, but I try not to overuse it. Right now, I'm learning the Jugg, and the claymore/omniblade/choke fits him perfectly.

Holy ****! I've missed a lot of dumbness apparently.
OT: Claymore goes on every kit and it works with all of them.

Just tried out the Claymoar on my recently unlocked Asari Huntress. It rocked on gold. My score was sadly still a distant second to the TGI. I'm such a scrub.

I'm sorry, but i completely suck with this gun. I think maybe it's because i'm used to AR's, but i thought i was doing something right at least by putting it on a krogan vanguard. I hear so many great things about this gun, but i just can't operate it properly...yes i know, i know...LTP,LTP...
. I 've seen folks absolutely wreck with this thing though.

Is your issue with reload cancelling?

It has probably already been mentioned but my favorite Claymore kit is the Hsol, because a 2 shot Claymore is boss. The beauty of the Hsol is that there are 3 of them. I have one that's built for assault rifles, one running a cryo CS build and my BF3 soldier is the Claymore specialist. Only difference b/w the Claymore Hsol and the AR Hsol is the rank 5 evo of Adrenaline Rush. My Claymore Hsol has the melee evo (so that AR can be used more often for teh reloads) while my AR Hsol has the duration evo.

I would suggest rank 6 bonus power on the BF3 claymore soldier. Shoot, AR, shoot, hide the reload in carnage, shoot, hide the reload in frag grenade... And there pretty much won't be anything standing in front of you anymore.

Solid idea. I'll give it a try when RNG decides to give me a respec card. It's going to be a bit hard for me though because I really got used to the shield gate reset shield boost (my bad) offered by rank 6a but it does sound like the kit will be much better with this setup.

As far as I know, rank 6a does not reset the shieldgate. However, I hear you on that. If I play a bit with my Harrier Hsol, who is specced 6a, and then I play BF3, I ... Erm, have problems. Which means that I go down more than an asari stripper on red sand. Especially because the BF3 is a no fitness build XD
But trust me, the amount of carnage (pun intended XD) that the kit can dish out is quite the sight. Especially against armor and, therefore, reapers. It's worth it ![]()

^ It doesn't reset shieldgate. It is best for countering pesky DOT attacks.

Yeah. Still, it's very useful to survive tight situations and can even act as a "shieldgate resetter" in the sense that those shields might prevent an attack from hitting your next gate or killing you. Once you're used to having that capability, it's hard to change your playstyle when you don't have it. That said, stick with it and you'll see the beauty ![]()
