SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP
But it's too easy to make the joke now or too late more like...
Also, I wonder what kind of crazy thing happens in the Highlands if Bertrand's house was haunted because of a tiny little shard of Red Lyrium.

Probably the batsh*t kind of crazy. How the hell are *we* gonna survive all that lyrium?
Good looking images.
We temporarily change the Inquisition into the Ghost Busters of Thedas.
A little bit of horror element in DAII was extremely satisfying. I hope devs to add more missions like Haunted. ![]()

A fine question. I hope they won't downplay the danger of close proximity.
The Red Templars seems to be going out of there way to give off the whole "We're evil!" vibe, aren't they?
Giant Red Lyrium Spikes don't exactly shout "We're just misunderstood!" after all.
Cool pictures though. Thanks for posting.

Same. I really don't want plot shield for this.
Darkspawns have no souls that is why they are mindless. The Red Templars do have souls, it might be more like "Assuming direct control".
We are just missing green lyrium now...
Ever since the whole Red Lyrium thing and hearing about Red Templars, it's made me think an awful lot of the Thorion back in ME1.
Anyone else getting that vibe or is it just me?

As in the red lyrium has a level of sentience? Yeah, I get that vibe too.

Me three. As in the red lyrium has a level of sentience? Yeah, I get that vibe too.
Me three.
We'll know it in DAI, since it's one of the DA secrets they're going to reveal, according to the GI coverage.
Yeah, I don't see us getting any definitive info on it till release.
A most delicious leak.

That, as well as potential that it's controlling the Red Templars. Or at least actively trying to manipulate their thoughts/actions.
The falcon/bird statues make me think it might have originally been an Avvar fortress. We know they live in the Frostbacks and were skilled builders. But the Andrastian statues in the screenshot with the dragon and the "Lion" name make me think it was somewhat more recently held by the Orlesian royal family. I can't wait to check the place out, everything looks amazing.

same as well. might be similar to the exposure to red sand or minagen x3 during missions in ME2. exposure could enhance the skills of magic-users but also royally **** you up along the way if you don't move fast or prepare with potions or something.
The amount of red lyrium on that tower is shocking. Is it growing on its own?
The two underneath the dragon look more like concept arts than actual in game footage to me.
I don't think they are. You can see things like Texture degradation (LOD) and shadow artifacts, hallmarks of an in-engine render at the very least.
That is so Orlesian.
Yep when I read "Du Lion", I immediately thought Orlesian, they sure love their lions.

Works for me.

I don't know. I say we destroy it as well as those crazy Red Templars. I just can't wait.

I wonder how we're going to destroy it. There's so much of it. ![]()
Hey look, it's Maferath.
I'm guessing that it's symbolical; Maferath betrayed Andraste and the Red Templars betrayed her Chantry.
