What i'd really like is for scars and/or paint I put on my character in the creation menu, to be noticed by the world i'm in.
Scars, Horns, Hair and other features you want to see in DA:I's character creation.

Would be fun if EA Sports would lend their game face feature to the DA:I character creator. That should make the romance scenes a lot more interesting as well ![]()
and creepy too.

So let me get this straight, you want scars and tattoos?More face tattoos and I would like scars. I'm a fan of more subtle scars so like small ones over the eye or cheek. I would really really like to see physics used on both the hair and clothing.
I love using long'ish hair on my warriors but the usual "mop" of hair htat never moves makes it look more like playdough.
It can be done, it was done over 10+ years ago in some games (even EQ 2, which was an mmo, used physics on both).
It can also be optional, so you can turn it on/off, as well as have it set to a limited range so like you could only see it on the player, or only hte party members, or on npc's within "x" distance.
The best hair in a game I've seen was probably in Tomb raider (the newest one) with the Tress FX, but even with that option turned off the default hair still looked great and reacted to movement, etc.
As far as tattoo's go, I'd love both tattoo's and warpaints, like the Picts or Native Americans would do.
Allow the option to select the tattoo/paint design and then let the user have the ability to move the decal around wherever they want to place it on their character along with the ability to resize/shape it (IE flip the image, turn it, make it bigger or smaller, etc).

Cassandra has always had short hair though, i dont see why that would worry you. Two comapnions are bald, thats not "half". Look at the PC inquisitor screenshots, i posted them for that exact reason, to reassure variety in hair styles with in game support
I don't care that she has short hair, I care that it is choppy, low res, and poorly modeled compared to the rest of her. (and what's up with the random inner tube looking thing around the back of her head?) Also Solas, Vivienne, and Iron Bull are all bald/shaved. That's an unusually high number.

I always got a chuckle out of the Citadel clone attempting to take over, but completely and extremely noticeably lacking the glowing red eyes and scars.

I've always wanted to have a character who lost an eye in battle and have a giant scar going down his/her face through that eye.

I want that hair the male human has in those renders for my girl elf. I love mohawks/undercuts/weird hairstyles. I guess I can settle for a short haircut like Cass's but I'd much prefer to not have to wait around for modding to play the game if they are all horrendous. Scars are good too.

-Scars.
-Moles.
-Freckles.
-Heterochromia (multiple eye color).
-Better tattoos.
Also an option to have all of the above on your character. Dragon's Dogma (as an example) allowed you to either have freckles, scars or a mole. You could only choose one which would mean you had to forgo the others. Hopefully that's not the case for Inquisition if these options exist. I would also like to see the option to have a blind eye that's scarred.
I want my warrior to look like one. I don't want ridiculously perfect skin on my warrior.
Naturally, more hair-styles and beards are a must but I'm certain Bioware already have them covered and I think they probably have scars covered too. Why give them to NPC's but not allow the player to customize their character with them?

We have no idea what Vivienne's hair looks like. For all we know, she could have a sweet magically-maintained elaborate horn-shaped braided hairstyle supported by internal wires. It'd be very Marie Antoinette.

I don't consider a shaved bald
That's nice. A 5 o' clock shadow on the head is not modeled hair it's just a texture applied to the head and so it falls into the same category as completely bald. The modeled hairstyles in both Mass Effect and Dragon Age have been very poorly modeled, textured, and styled. It almost looked like someone took a hairstyle from Morrowind or Ocarina of Time and patched it into a modern game. The closeups of the hair we have seen is not promising, it looks like more of the same. Unusually low quality hair compared to the rest of the models and textures for everything else. There is a reason the number one mod for BioWare games is hairstyles, I hope the hair we've seen isn't finalized but it probably is.

It'd be really awesome if the options let us blur stereotypical gender lines more:
-short/'masculine' hairstyles for women
-better yet, let anyone pick any available hairstyle no matter what gender they're playing (Dragon's Dogma did this. It was awesome)
-universal makeup options for either gender
-for the love of the Maker, please don't make the female armor like it was in DA:O. Unattractive AND impractical. Why would a rogue of any gender have their chest entirely exposed. Gross.

Freckles, birthmarks, tattoos, scars (on face and body, thank you very much), multi-layered eye color (like hazel eyes where they have specks of brown and green and gold in them) detailed face customization is definitely a plus, and the hair, please dear Maker the hair, especially the buzz cut, give it a hairline, it looked too much like a stocking cap. Better beards and as many horn options as can be possible, (though i am curious as to how qunari wear helms, is it like a mask?)
Oh, and that female armor in orgins? Don't include it, the boob plate looks clownish.

I really, REALLY hope these are the default/iconic appearances for the Inquisitor, because I really, REALLY like them. All of them. Except the human male, and only because he's lacking a braid and I consider that an iconic part of the Inquisitor now. ![]()
I'd like the ability to customize the default/iconic appearance, though. It wasn't offered in vanilla DA2, but there were mods that enabled it and I was able to make some much nicer looking Hawkes than with the CC offerings alone.
Also, I have a bad feeling that qunari horn size is sexually dimorphic and female qunari characters will have smaller horn options than males. Rasaan from Those Who Speak had nice-looking horns, and I could probably settle for that. I'm also excited for the option to be a "hornless" qunari, and I hope that other characters reference this where appropriate.
